A group of over 40 had Christmas dinner last night. Everything was excellent. The food was all hot and served at the same time, the servers smiled and were very helpful, and the food was delicious. Well done to the picture house.

By special arrangement, the Picture House team did our Spanish group a bespoke tapas meal. Chef Luke made two paellas for us and a range of other tapas that we'd requested, all completely authentic and absolutely delicious. Jo and Fern served us this quite complicated meal in true Spanish style, Altogether a most enjoyable experience.

Had a lovely meal here with family to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The service was excellent and so was the food. Great atmosphere and such a lovely venue. A great menu with lots of choice and specials too. Will be returning.

Food good. Service poor. 4 servers standing chatting. Had to ask to have our order taken after 20 mins. Ordered extra bread but they didnt listen and took off the fries. Asked for the fries but they bought chips. Ordered more drinks but they never came. Bill was wrong. Was gonna have more drinks desserts and coffee but the experience was so disappointing that we left

My wife and I randomly found ourselves staying in Uckfield at the weekend (we had to be somewhere local in the morning so stayed over) and we were looking for something to do in the evening. We found this amazing place only a few minutes away from where we were staying. We booked dinner at the restaurant - lovely film inspired decor, a friendly welcome and great service, and really good food, reasonably priced. We then popped over the road to the cinema to watch the new Mission Impossible in their 'lounge' cinema which was a fantastic experience. Reclining leather armchairs, waitress service before the film for all your food and drink needs - was great to enjoy a pint with the film in such comfort. The only issue is being so comfortable you could end up having a snooze!! If you're ever passing through I highly recommend stopping here, it's a great night out. Thanks so much!

Lovely restaurant in Uckfield.Lots of great vintage film posters on the wall.We only had a main course, but we all enjoyed our meal thoroughly.The Blue Movie Burger was fantastic! Great chips too!Good wine list, the Malbec was perfect with the burger.

Easy dining. Well, that's what I like to call it.Great food, good menu, staff, and ambience up there with the best. And definitely not a sad ending when you get the bill. Live music to boot.

Highly recommend the picture house cinema and restaurant. Cinema plays all the latest films and offer really good deals along side the restaurant. Staff are super friendly and the quality of food massively outweighs their modest pricing. Couldn't recommend a better place to visit!

What a lovely experience and adorable cinema. They helped us out when we had some trouble booking tickets online. This was the first cinema I've visited in years that didn't force me to wear hearing protection - I hardly believed I would ever find a cinema with a normal volume again!

Had an amazing meal at The Picture House to celebrate my daughter?s 18th. Staff were amazing and attentive and the meal delicious. Ate far too much !!!!

An older building with charm hosting traditional smaller screen rooms. I've never had a problem here to see the screen, even with a tall person directly in front!Staff are always very friendly and happy to help.I rarely visit a cinema (I'm not the best at sitting still) but here (maybe other places these days) they even sell alcohol. This enabled me to relax with some chocolate, a glass of wine and a great film.Free parking available close by too :-)

Small independent cinema. Lounge is extremely comfortable and the staff are excellent. Screen 1 is currently being renovated. Has a large variety of films of all genre. Plus enjoy a meal or snack across the road at their restaurant - for a small town it is an excellent facility and long may it last.
