We've just returned from a weekend away at Horsted Place celebrating our anniversary. We couldn't fault anything! The location, service, room and food were great! Everything was fabulous! The added bonus was being able to use the swimming pool at their sister hotel; East Sussex National, for no extra charge. We highly recommend this hotel.

We have just retuned from a fabulous weekend at the Horsted Hotel. The staff were amazing and so attentive to our needs. Every detail was meet with such a relaxed and high standard.
The rooms were so very clean and spacious. We stayed in the Sussex room and highly recommend this room with lovely sunsets to be seen. The food was exceptional with the best Sunday roast I have ever enjoyed.
We had a lovely time and I would highly recommend booking though secret escapes as you get the evening and breakfast included with a glass of champagne on arriving.
Thank you all at the hotel. Your amazing Garry and Ruth Perkins

Absolutely lovely staff, all the receptionists and the housekeeping team were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel is well-maintained and every room looked very posh! I stayed in a standard suite and even that had a large smart TV and refreshments, and a plentiful amount of towels. Complementary bottles of bathroom and hygiene amenities are provided.
Rooms: Large double bed, smart TV, tea and coffee, biscuits, complementary soaps and shampoos etc.

Cant comment on Rooms as just used the Restaurant.
Drinks are Crazy Prices. £15:00 for an Aperil Spritz! Food is Good but to be Frank the Service Charge & Drink Prices are a Rip Off. Also Menu Chioice is Linited to a Few Specials & a Set Menu. Would not go back. Sad as the location is awesome.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Horsted Place Hotel, we had a great time, the hotel is superb, Sam and her colleagues made sure we had an excellent evening meal and a superb breakfast, our room was immaculately presented and newly refurbished, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel ?

Wonderful lunch - quality food with lots of choices of sides if required although main meals are plentiful. Superb value. Beautiful surroundings and very attentive staff.

Fantastic hotel, with very nice staff. All staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was excellent.
Could do with a lift to second floor, I had a large heavy suitcase and the second set of stairs is a little narrow and steep, but in fairness a member of staff offered to carry it for me and I foolishly refused.
All in all a lovely hotel I will definitely stay in again.
Rooms: Had a family birthday celebration in private function room. Could not fault hotel or staff.
Food and drinks: Food well presented and prepared. Excellent choice of wines and spirits, could do with a wider choice of beers.

Brilliant staff and the food was lovely. Cannot recommend enough. Much preferred to Buxted Park, and that is very nice.

Just spent a 3-day Christmas break at Horsted Place and I cannot stress too highly what a delightful, relaxing and gastronomic time we had. Our room was warm and comfortable.
The staff were all so welcoming, cheerful and super efficient. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was exceptional, much of it locally grown or sourced and beautifully cooked and presented.
Thank you to Adam and all his staff.
Happy New Year to you all?

Stayed here for a long weekend and it is really amazing. I didn't know that Queen Elizabeth II was friends with the family and stayed here often. Didn't get the Windsor suite but never the less a really lovely stay in a beautiful hotel. Grounds are great and area really good for beautiful villages. Food very good as is wine. I found the wine selection limited but not really complaining as they were good wines. Our room was at top of hotel but there is a lift so if you have a problem with stairs use the lift. Room very comfortable and great view.
Rooms: The suites look beautiful. I was nosy and looked. The other rooms are also very nice. Our bed was very comfortable.
Nearby activities: Very close to the seaside and also the most beautiful villages in England. Great for walking and sightseeing.
Walkability: Grounds are beautiful and if you walk across the steps there is a large countryside walk. Take wellies if wet though.
Food and drinks: Food is exceptional and chef meets dietary requirements. Limited wine list but I believe adequate. Could have more choice but I drank the Malbec which was very good.
Noteworthy details: Queen Elizabeth II and family often stayed here as they were friends with the family. Ask at desk for history of house and it is really interesting.

Lovely lunch. Food very good. Service slowed a little towards the end...had to go find a staff member to pay the bill!
Otherwise all good. Will return.
