Be careful! This is a dangerous place if you want/like customer service.
This is how dictatorships have started!
All my Mum was trying to do, was pay some money off of her Halifax credit card. Which she had done in the past in both Seaford and Brighton.
The first bark was ?you can?t do that?!? The second bark was ?have you got an account with us?!?
When Mum started to get a little fed up, she asked to speak to someone senior, they then asked if she had any shopping to do as they were busy.
She gave up on that and spotted a free agent but was told that the agent was going home soon.

This branch needs a visit and some training sessions, firstly on humility, secondly basic customer service.

I was told by the same guy on two different days conflicting responces to my inquiry...WASTE OF SPACE they are just part of the Establishment that think the man in the street is beneath them

Had to pop into Seaford Halifax Bank earlier today to sort out an urgent issue with my internet banking,Entering the bank I was instantly welcomed by the branch manager who at once commenced a solution and handled the issue efficiently with head office.It?s a long time since I?ve needed to enter a ?bricks & Mortar? bank and it was pleasing to see that good old fashioned customer service is still alive & well in Seaford ? sincere thanks

Why close the branch due to water supply issue.Surely you can get an emergency plummer, or emergency with water company.

I use the ATM quite regular as I work in Seaford. Since they have changed the machine I've had nothing but hassle, apart from being very slow, (not very nice when it's pouring with rain), on several occasions when I've wanted to withdraw cash it has kept me waiting 2 or 3 minutes only to reject my card with no explanation each time this has happened I've crossed the road and used the Santander machine and had a quick and efficient service.
