Overall happy with Jempsons as our primary top up supermarket. More expensive than the larger ones but fair for what we need. Staff are generally friendly, product quality good and convenient to our location. We shop there at least once a week and but my petrol there as one of the lower prices petrol stations near me.

£23.50 for 2 breakfasts and 2 hot drinks. Ok quality and good service but just 1 sausage, 2 bacon, 1 egg, the rest was just plate fillers.

Quite different from other supermarkets. Great bakery and butchery.

Jempsons is easily my favourite supermarket. We stop off at the Peasmarsh branch on our way into Rye and top up with extras as needed in their store in the centre of Rye town. We only visit the area once or twice a year and all I can say is we wish we had a Jempsons near us.It feels like the perfect cross between a Wholefoods and an expansive French supermarket. Loads of local produce, awesome bread, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It all feels very considered and well stocked. The CEO of Sainbury's should take a long look at the Jempsons model or maybe get the Jempsons management team onboard to help out because Sainsbury's need to up their game!

It used to be fabulous but has, unfortunately, gone downhill. I won't be visiting again.Soft fruit was mouldy in the fridges; the frozen 'scoop' vegetables were ice bound; out-of-state yogurt and fruit juice were on the refrigerator shelves; there were hardly any fresh bread products available, and everything else was VERY expensive. Even the cafe had been affected. We wanted a cream tea (for lunch) but they'd run out of scones. There were none in the shop either.Such a shame as this store used to be amazing!!

This shop used to be good, It used to be a good local heros store supporting local farmers, now its nothing more than a branch of Morrisons. The last Straw was the Cheese Straws which used to be excellent, are still tasteless and like cardboard. Destination no, decline yes!

Found staff moaning audibly whilst shelf filling unnecessary and depressing. Then met with grudging removal of step ladder to enable me to access shelf required which was accompanied by weary shoulder shrugging to colleague as I dithered over the options. Not the best experience.Stock levels patchy in areas- guess it is part of bedding in with new shop partner Morrisons. Hope it settles down quickly.

Went to the cafe for breakfast. It is by far the best place my husband and I have been to for breakfast and we have been lucky enough to eat out at lots of different cafes and bars all over the world. The best eggs we have ever tasted and done just the way we asked. Could not rate it any better.

Thought I might have a bite to eat but the prices are extravagant considering it is just a cafe in a supermarket. A slice of cake can be nearly £4 . The starf are lovely . However every thing else in not . For instance the noise when anyone moves a chair in deafening as it scrapes along the floor. Put soft pads on the bottom of each leg - simple remedy!

I like jempson Supermarket but not quite as much as I do when it was not working with another supermarket. I loved the fact that you could get some very different things that other supermarkets did not stock. The parts they have kept like butchers, bakers fish, and cheese counter are wonderful. Staff ate great they spend time talking to customers making g them feel special I over heard staff use first names with customers and ask them.about there day . Most of these customers were older and often on their own such a lovely touch, and you could see them walk away with a smile . Well done to a staff for taking the time ?

Jempsons have recently teamed up with Morrisons replacing the Co-operative as a supplier. While I love Jempsons, I was never that keen on the Co-op products which were generally low quality but pricey. But now with Morrisons, the opposite is true with a range of competitively priced and good quality products.
