Absolutely amazing. Food was fantastic, didn't have to wait long at all and the people are so friendly and accommodating. Had fussy eaters, a wheelchair, a service dog and dietary requirements and all were handled with kindness and professionalism. Would definitely recommend.

A proper 'Ronseal' pub this one: does what it says on the tin. Proper pub grub, large portions of well-cooked pub staples. Friendly bar-staff, lots of locals having a beer (this isn't a 'destination' gastro pub and is all the better for it). Only slight negative for me was the relaxed dog policy with a couple of dogs running around freely inside. And this is on me - dog lovers would have no issue - is just because I'm very allergic so had sniffles and running eyes when trying to sup on my pint. Still, minor quibble - this is a countryside pub after all, so dogs are to be expected. And the outside area is fab, and next visit will make sure I get under the heated canopy which looked very inviting. Strong recommend!

Beautiful 400 year old pub close to Crowborough. Small pub but plenty of old English charm. If you are over 5ft 6 you?ll need to bend over to get in the door.
Good selection of food here to suit most tastes. Come here for the views across the fields on a nice day and enjoy the patio and birds.

It?s a nice old pub. Food is also very nice however it?s let down by the drink choices. Not a great choice of beer and they only serve two types of white wine.
