Delicious Sunday roast! Went on a gorgeous sunny day, plenty of space outside and attentive staff. Accommodated well for a large group. Ice cold water to help yourself to. Dog friendly.

Came here for lunch, and we were really impressed by the quality of the food, which is what this review relates to. There are lots of options on the menu, and we loved that it had locally sourced ingredients. The highlights included the fish stew, the scallops (with a divine chilli, garlic and soy dressing), and the baked sea bream. The kids who aren't seafood fans stuck to the pub classics, including burgers and ribs. Service was quick despite our large group of 8 turning up at the end of lunch. Every dish had generous portions, was cooked to perfection, and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend a visit, as this was easily the best seafood we've had in a while!

My wife and I had the chicken liver pate', tye pate itself was very nice!
But you receive 1 slice of toast cut into 4triangles,with half of the pate' remaining, asked for 2 slices of toast to finish the pate,but the cost for 1slice was £4 ,so if we had 2 slices £8, think it's very extortionate.
So I'm afraid very disappointed. The management should rethink there charges for extras.
