I generally avoid this chemist as there always seems to be lengthy queues when I go in. I use Kamson in central avenue instead.
Eg today at one point there was 7 staff behind the counter, only 1 person serving a queue of 6 about 5-10 mins per person. A second cashier finally came out about 15 minutes wait

If you have the option to go to another pharmacy, I highly recommend doing so. The staff here are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I went in to buy an eye ointment because I was experiencing irritation, likely due to an oncoming stye. Both a doctor and other pharmacies had recommended this over-the-counter ointment, and many pharmacies even have it available on the shop floor.
However, the man behind the counter refused to sell it to me, insisting it wouldn?t help. I explained that I had used it before, even under the guidance of an NHS doctor, but he still refused, claiming he wasn?t allowed to sell it?despite confirming they had it in stock and that it wasn?t prescription-only. They had the eye drops available on the shop floor, which are essentially the same but in liquid form, whereas I prefer the gel because it soothes my eyes more.
This is completely unacceptable. Pharmacy staff should not have the authority to override medical recommendations and personal experience. If I had simply picked up the eye drops from the shelf, no one would have questioned me. To make matters worse, the man was extremely rude throughout the interaction. I hope his manager sees this?if not, I will be contacting them myself. Absolutely disgraceful! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Great service .....i was given a 24hr blood pressure check up provided free. Elia explained the process and that all results are automatically sent to my gp.

Really impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. Elia the pharmacist was very caring, carefully explained the process of using a 24hour bp monitor and clearly interpreted the results. Top marks!

Elia the pharmacist helped myself and my partner this year, mine was for a large bite and his was for tonsillitis. We got no help from our doctors and he got us the prescriptions we needed for both of us within 10/15 minutes of being in the room with him. Not only was he brilliant and kind and caring with us, but we also watched him do everything to help his other customers and overcome every obstacle they threw at him. The guy is so amazing he deserves a raise at this point!

If you are happy to wait one hour or more for your meds, please don't hesitate going to this pharmacy. A lot of staff but not that much efficiency.... disappointed

On the 15th of july 24 As I was concerned by my high blood pressure I went to see the pharmacist at Wells pharmacy in Peacehaven. I was recieved by Elia who listened to my concerns. He provided me with an ambulatory monitoring blood pressure device. He communicated my result after 24 hours and as my BP was still too high he advised me to get an appt with my GP. Excellent service

I needed a prescription as going away tomorrow. Went in at 9 this am,said I was going away in the morning. Tried to collect @ 5 to told they did not have it. If I had left it any later I might not have been able to get it, it would have been better customer service if they had told me they did not have it. I was more annoyed because the staff only said that they needed three days notice rather than just say they did not have it. I also thought the member of staff would benefit from some common courtesy training. In pursuit of fairness I should say that the staff member I spoke to this morning is much more professional. This is the first bad but honest review I have left anywhere
