Not been for a while but had a great experience this Sunday. Roast for a tenner! Couldn?t finish it there was so much. Lovely atmosphere watching the footy and service was spot on,many must agree as the place was super busy. Credit goes to the bar manager who was brilliant at her job. Highly recommend

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Was there for the evening but seems like there is a fab view over the sea from the beer garden. And also an outside seating area to the front of the pub. Parking available. Very convenient for Newhaven (overnight ferry to France)

We sometimes come for a Sunday roast and the value for money, plus portion sizes cannot be beaten anywhere locally (including Brighton). We booked for 8 of us last Saturday for the festive 3 course meal and it was fabulous! Between us we all make a very good roast, so expectations are always high for us, but all parties loved all 3 courses.
Food came out on time, delicious with no issues. Roast potatoes are notoriously hard to get right when cooking en mass, but they were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Staff always warm and welcoming with great service too.

Faye, Shane and the team have yet again made our visit to The Telscombe Tavern a positive experience. We had the pleasure of feasting on the Christmas festive menu, which I highly recommend. We have been regular visitors to The Telscombe Tavern during 2024 and we will certainly be regularly visiting again in 2025, thanks to Faye and Shane, who are always on hand for a friendly chat and welcoming smile. The food and atmosphere is just perfect. Thanks you for your warm hospitality.

Visited this pub for the evening and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious (The Tavern Burger was great but you'll need a knife and fork to eat it at it is a tower of a burger). Had a few light snacks too that were great to have around the pool table. A lovely atmosphere with fantastic service from a great barman!

Have to say what a great pub, staff are friendly and always happy to have a laugh, it can get a bit crazy busy at times, so if your looking for a quiet drink pick your days and evening carefully. Food looks amazing, not that I have sampled it as yet, but will do when I have time

Nice typical pub with good food, could do with a bit of sprucing up in the dining area inside but still has its flair. Thank you for the opportunity to stay overnight with the motorhome.

We were allowed to spend the night here in the parking lot with our camper and had dinner in the tavern. It was very quiet, so fast service, friendly staff, original decor. The quality of the food was ok.
