Surprised at how good the food was. Lovely roast beef cooked to perfection. Crunchy roast potatoes tasted like they had been done in drippjng. Very nice. Dog friendly. Generous portions and I'd definitely consider coming back for a Sunday roast.

We ended up here as the bridge let us down. The staff could not have been more polite and accommodating. The food was a bargain and delicious - I can recommend the Yorkshire pudding wrap!! Thank you for saving our family lunch and being so lovely. I will be back.

Apparently, my last review was only 3 stars. What happened, I do not know I give the Ship 5 stars every day. The ambience, staff, food, are bloody brill. I feel very relaxed when I go to the pub to eat or drink. A fab pub, staff and owners. Please stay. X

The Ship is under new management and are really transforming the place. Vicki and Jay were so welcoming and the food that their chef Joe made was absolutely incredible! Excited to see this pub go from strength to strength!

Went in on a whim as the cafe was closed.
It was around midday and there was no-one in the restaurant side. Service was fast, servings were large and food was lovely. Best bit 2 beers each and lunch for three people less than £60
