I don't recommend this place. There were three of us at 1 p.m. on a Sunday where they were supposed to have a roast. I ordered fish and chips, crumble, and coffee, and the waitress came to the table and informed me there were no chips, no crumble, and no milk for the coffee. I forgot to mention that I waited at the bar for 10 minutes, completely ignored, and behind the counter were three young people who, in my opinion, were absolutely incompetent. Avoid this place.

Boring horrible food. Never again. Burnt fish bland. Very small portions. When paying served others before taking our money. Isn't our money good enough? Will be taking our custom else where. Don't even ask me to remove my review because I will not.

I just went on 17 August and ordered a roast beef and even after I told them it was not proper cooked it was same.like a proper rubber.i'm not fussy when I have food but this time was really bad.

For nearly 20 pounds a person, you would expect decent portions. While the fish and chips were a good size, the pie was small and dry with few chips and the burger was tiny!

Food was just OK, steak pie pastry was soggy both top and bottom, Mash potatoe was Luck warm in the middle, Welsh Rabbit was hard to cut in and tasted just a normal cheese on toast, without the taste of Welsh Rabbit ingredients in it.The waiter staffs was present and helpful.

We've visited Newheaven several times for fishing trips, and this is our third time at this pub. Unfortunately, each visit has been disappointing.
The staff consistently display attitude issues and come across as extremely rude.
As for the food, it's quite bland and lacks flavor.
We had hoped for a better experience given the location, but sadly, it hasn?t improved over time.
