A couple of suspect looking customers ? but you can't really choose your clientele I guess. Great food and easy to order exactly what you want ? Will come back for more.Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast was yummy. No meat replacement food option (eg veggie sausages); which is a plus for me. Had fried eggs perfectly runny, baked beans, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, bubble and squeak AND fried bread (such a glutton) with a cup of tea and it was all delicious.

Had Cheese ? mushroom ? omelette, with chips (hot and crisp), and beans, very filling for lunch.Vegetarian options: Omelette was good.

Sorry but this has to one of the worst cafe's I have ever been to. Ordered a sausage sandwich and it wasn't fit for a dog. Sausages were tastless and greasy. To top it off they were the tiniest, sliced in half worst piece of meat I?ve ever tasted! Would not recommend.

Whilst driving to Eastbourne we decided to stop in Newhaven to have a bite to eat. We saw that we could sit outside, as we had our two dogs, we ordered a Rose breakfast each of which come with a free coffee or tea. I had tea as I'm fussy about my coffee. The breakfast was freshly cooked, and I enjoyed it, I was very hungry & cleaned the plate. My spouse was surprised at how nice the coffee was, not instant! The staff are friendly & inside was clean. If you're in Newhaven & want a bite to eat I recommend this place. ?

I have been this place for having my coffee, close to bus stop. Nice, polite and helpful staff. One can enjoy a variety of foods from breakfast to dinner.
