I have never done on-line banking before and the two ladies at the Lewes branch talked me through the whole thing, in language I could undersatnd, with good humour and, most all, with patience. I cannot recommend them enough.

A five star service from five star people. Chloe and Nicky in the branch were particularly helpful assisting me with a confidential and important transaction. Nationwide really know how to look after their customers.

I carelessly left my card in the cash machine at the Lewes branch which was closed and having panicked for a short while, managed to get the attention of someone in the building who was polite and helpful and was able to return the card to me the following day. Very reassuring.

Staff at the Lewes branch are fantastic, they have all been very attentaive and friendly with it. My previous bank account sent me a message weekly to tell me my balance. I loved that but I can't get it with Nationwide which is disappointing.

I have never had a problem with this bank. I get weekly texts showing my balance with recent transactions, a great help in keeping on track with your budget. Staff are very pleasant, but the queues at lunchtime are a right pain! I would recommend this bank to friends and family.
