In an age when the corner shop is disappearing we are so lucky to have this shop right on our doorstep.
Sadly we have lost the post office here many years ago, and the cash machine a while back, but we still have every other aspect to our emergency or convenient shopping needs.
Because if it wasn't here with Mrs Patel, Sunny and their lovely staff at the helm we would have to go to town or go without for so many things.
During Covid-19 it was a lifeline for so many who didn't want to venture further because they were afraid or vulnerable.
Workers as well as the elderly pop in for their newspapers seven days a week as well as those dropping in on their way home after work.
Generations of families have popped their heads around the door of the shop to be greeted by their first first name and a welcoming smile and a how are you.
For many especially the elderly this could be their only human contact each day.
White van deliveries come and go, dropping off and taking away those parcels that keep us going in different ways.
As well as the fresh goods arriving on a daily basis to fill our needs and tummies too with milk, wine, food and sweeties too.
How lucky are we to have this friendly family run business right on our doorstep....we are.

Friendly staff and surprisingly big once inside. Lots of variety and a big greeting card range. They won't accept card payments under £5 which seems a bit backward these days - Especially if your order came to £4.97!
