Been here now and then was there yesterday pls explain 20 min for a small portion of chips no cheese or anything and there was 2 people in the shop me and a teenager. Pls be faster

The food was undercooked over priced and I would rather eat sand. My chips might as well of been potato still they was still hard not mushy where they where still frozen if you spend your money here you might as well be giving it away as you won?t eat the food this place either needs new ownership or to just close down period.

Tried the place after 2 years still the same. Entire box of chips undercooked. Sausages not tasty. The man working said he works 65 hours a week. The owners really need to address this because it?s affecting the food quality. Defiantly not happy! More expensive than other shops and not as good. Will not be a returning customer.

Possibly the worst place ever. Ordered fishcake and chips and landed up chucking in the bin. Chips stale and Luke warm. Worse the fishcake was cold when bitten into (only luke warm on outside). Server gabbed it with his hands and no tongs. Shame Google reviews report such a high score, as it's only when you look in detail it sadly appears my experience was not alone.

Been here loads and never an issue. After a nights work I decided to get a takeaway on way home. Didn?t realise they were shutting and when I ordered there was no mention till I was home and couldn?t ring as order wrong. Ordered wings and got given some cold chicken nuggets which were already in cabinet, chips were full of scraps. I would of rather the lady say they were shutting then spend money on cold food and wrong items! Don?t even know how they have ticked wings off when it?s quite clearly nuggets!!!

Had deliveries from here a few times , excellent every time ,decent portions and well cooked , nice to see no boxes etc just wrapped in paper how it should be . 10/10

Undercooked pie, stale cold chips, didn?t even look like he could wrap them properly. Gravy was lumpy and jelly like, awful do not go here.

I never leave bad reviews but this deserves it. The chips were awful, stale - clearly not fresh. Horrible taste from bad oil. Ate a few and ended up chucking them away and getting something else.

Dreadful ?food? and eye-wateringly expensive. Both the fish and the chips were dry and tasted of little. In fact, they tasted like the were lunchtime?s leftovers reheated which is what I strongly suspect they were. They also missed out my daughter?s gluten-free chips so I had to go back to get these, so the rest of the food was stone-cold and horrid by the time i returned home. For £45 I?d have expected more than reheated leftovers ??

Our favourite fish and chips in Lewes! and it's our local. We've also had family visit from out of town and they've told us that their fish is some of the best they've ever had from a fish and chip shop.

Found this place on a google search and the GF fish and chips was great. Nice and hot tasted lovely. Quick service, clean shop.
Dietary restrictions: Separate Gluten Free menu online and in shop. Good selection. Would like a battered sausage though ?
