Such an enjoyable lunch. Beautiful garden. Interesting food options as well as the classics (Burger is the BEST around!).
Nice to see a place doing something slightly differently and with love. Friendly staff too.

Had lunch there with a friend. We waited an hour and didn?t receive our starters and our mains were cold. Something must have happened in the kitchen. Nice outside tables.

Omg the woman who served us was jaded and rude! Nobody welcome us, then the face on it was terrible! So unwelcoming! No food orders for 20 minutes? ok, we will have twiglets - they got thrown at us pretty much! What a shame - the place is lovely, the drinks and food look good but why on earth should we give our cash to this woman??

A lovely reward at the end of a walk through the Hastings country park. It's definitely worth venturing out of Hastings for.

Stunning location, food and atmosphere. It?s our favourite place for a roast in Hastings and we recommend constantly. The food is top notch and staff are lovely. It?s a little hidden gem that needs to be shared. If you haven?t been, run don?t walk!

Very nice and friendly i had the best cup of coffee there with the best service i could get after a 5 hours of hiking.

We went for dinner and drinks. Fantastic selection of beers and wines, with excellent local offerings.
Food was brilliant. One of the best burgers I've had, really tender, packed full of flavour and delicious fries.
We also ordered patas bravas which were amazing.
We didn't have the pie but seeing one on another diners plate, I certainly had pie envy so will be trying one for my next visit!

My wife and I just had lunch here following a big walk around Hastings Country Park.
The food was absolutely epic - and I?m a qualified chef! My prawns were some of the best I?ve ever had, and the patatas bravas were incredible too.
The service was impeccable, from our waitress (and the owner), with a perfect amount of attention.
If you?re anywhere near Hastings and you?re a foody, you MUST try this place.
We live in East Malling but we shall definitely be returning very soon.

We often stop here after a hike through Hastings Country Park. The building and interior is beautiful, food and drink eve better. The seafood in particular is worth trying as well as Josh's fantastic wines.

What a great find. Stayed here in our way through and was just expecting a nice room and typical pub food. But wow the rooms are excellent and well decorated. The bonus is the great food in this Gastro Pub. Highly recommend. Do not stay in Hastings go that little further and stay here!!!
