My wife and I came here for lunch after stopping in for a quick drink on a couple of occasions. Boy were we not disappointed!! Worried that we should have booked we were greeted and seated without any issue, favour fortunes the hungry and we were given a table in the bar area. Perfect ? service was chatty and friendly and humorous, just how pubs used to be. Food was amazing and plentiful and reasonably priced. I cannot find a single fault other than it?s nearly an hour away from home but that?s not their fault. Keep supporting this great pub people there?s not many like this left

We as a family have used this quaint amazing pub for all of our special functions over the last 25 years, we are always served promptly, service with a smile, and the food is of a very high standard and freshly made, the entrance of the pub is decorated with hops and the moment you arrive there is a relaxed welcoming feeling.
There are plenty of tables inside and out for functions, offering a large play area at the rear, overlooking scenic views.
I would not hesitate recommending this venue to anyone as the prices are reasonable and it is dog and child friendly. Staff work endlessly to deliver a high standard of customer service at all times, perfect for wedding receptions, wakes, or any kind of parties!

Thank- you for another beautiful evening. We are a large family of around 30 and struggle to have meals together which suit our schedules/budgets and food choices.
We always, always travel to the Robin Hood when we can. The staff are so friendly, they honestly make our night, we feel so welcome, we can laugh with them and all the parents manage to relax. We have alot of children and although we do our best to keep noise and any messing about to a minimum they never make us feel on edge. The food is brilliant, 3 courses for £19 is a bargain and it comes out hot and well presented. Which is no mean feat for such a large number of meals in one go.
The pub is also lovely, the bar is warm and cosy, the back room is spacious and inviting, the decking is stunning and there's such a big outside space with a playpark for children. Bring on the summer!
Meals not on the set menu are also lovely, homemade lasagne was a massive hit tonight and the pies were all tasty too! Homemade Banoffee Pie for pudding as well and not forgetting my fav the white chocolate and raspberry roulade! Yum!
