Excellent food, friendly service. They went out of their way to provide me with a meal on a Sunday evening and saved the day.

This was my local for many many years. First the George Pub and then the Eurasia. Jo, who runs it is a lovely lady and we, as a family, had many special evenings there. in fact, our 2 children were named whilst we had a drink and dinner. Fortunately, both had normal names, not called Crispy Squid or Special Fried Rice. :). It has been a while since we have been back, but we have fond memories of Jo and her restaurant and we saw many people come and go. Always look for the plaque next to the right side of the bar. Very emotional. I will return. Thanks.

Great tasting food prepared on time!

Food was good, though a big pricey. We found the venue sole-less, an infrequently-used and tired old pub, that serves Asian food. Service was poor. Had good time with friends, but will probably not return.

Meet up with good friend and have enjoyed the fresh cooked meal. Vegetables always nice and crunchy and the sea salt squid is my favourite.

Super food - Great family fee created by the village locals. Can be expensive on the food, but have never had a bad meal.

Tried Eurasia about a week ago. The staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming however the food wasn't very tasty and the rice was like it wasn't fresh ?

Jo Lee, Ann, Alan and all the team - a heartfelt thank you from us for your continued kindness and excellence. We thoroughly enjoyed the party and the live music, and the food was a revelation as it differed from the normal a la carte menu. All in all, you deserve every success, and we were so happy to be included as a part of your celebration. Thank you very much, and we look forward to he next 25 yeas!

I have to say I?m really disappointed with our meal, firstly it cost much more than any local restaurant, so we thought we were in for a treat. It started off well and the crispy wan tuns were delicious but the lemak prawns tasted of nothing and I couldn?t eat it and the pernakan kerisek, was borderline and wasn?t edible and had to be thrown away, the special fried rice had no flavour at all, generally a very disappointing meal. I rang the restaurant to let them know, I got a very confrontational response, saying I was wrong and didn?t know what I was talking about, she talked over me and was not prepared to listen, I said I had tried other meals locally which were cheaper and much better, which she took great offence to and then proceeded to slag off a local restaurant and shout me down. All I wanted was for them to look into it and a simple apology, instead I got a major ticking off. Looking at previous bad reviews, the response the restaurant has given is what I expect them to do to me. A bit of constructive criticism helps develop businesses, maybe they should keep this in mind.

We went to Bodiam Castle, and fancied a lunch out, this restaurant is fairly nearby on the A21. They have a number of sunday roast options, which were well cooked with some good vegetables served alongside. Surprisingly quiet on a nice sunny day but great space both inside and out Friendly staff

Customer service at Eurasia has become insulting. I see from Jo's responses below the change comes from the top. I have been a great fan of Eurasia in the past - weekly take-aways for two or three years - but on the two occasions I have visited for take-away since the lockdown re-opening the new attitude has been clear. The first occasion I waited twenty minutes in the car park past my pick up time while the restaurant dealt with the lady in front of me whose order was missing a duck dish. The attitude of the restaurant staff was all about allocating blame rather than smoothing over and creating harmony. This week it was my turn to be insulted. Chicken instead of vegetarian, which I noticed when I got home. I called up to explain and ask for a replacement but before I could say much I was told it was my fault and that I was lying about claiming to have ordered vegetarian. Sigh.

I ordered take away this evening from The Royal George Hurst Green and it was a terrible experience. We ordered several dishes; Singapore laksa, chicken satay but it was dry and tasteless. Also, we were excited to get Nasi Lemak but turned out that they gave us coconut rice instead. I asked my Malaysian friend, they confirmed that Nsai Lemak is a set: rice comes with sambal (a spicy paste) and some other ingredients. We called back to ask for the missing ingredients but they explained that Nasi Lemak means coconut rice. The waiters and chef are clearly Malay but don?t even understand the Malaysian dishes properly. Also, they charged us extra for the food, so I wouldn?t recommend to anyone.

We?ve been here before when it was trading as Eurasia only but under the owner?s decision to change the branding/image, it has actually improved from being very good to simply superb! The service, staff attitude was very friendly and obliging supported by excellent quality of malasian food. It is now more of a pub atmosphere which has been achieved well.
