Tbh id give waitrose a swerve. Fruit and veg poor quality and doesn't last. The freshly cooked chickens are outstanding however. Very very nice. The fish is nice too. But everything else is over priced and not that good.

I love my local Waitrose. The staff are lovely and the food is great. The only problem is I end up spending more than intended in there.

The store has a nice, relaxed atmosphere which makes the normal food shop experience much more pleasant. Aside from what you'd expect of the usual Waitrose quality, the service here is exceptional. I had the pleasure of being helped by a lady called Paula and she couldn't have been more helpful. Down to earth and not at all stuffy, she's a real credit to you! The people manning the self service area are also lovely, very friendly and courteous :)

This is my local Waitrose. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I think the price went up so much the last few years, that's why I don't shop there as much as I used to. Unfortunately, that's the case for the whole country I think. I love the butcher's selection there. The staff are knowledgeable with which cut is good for different cooking styles.

I only went to the cafe, The food was overpriced. Customer service is alright. Not many options to choose from hot or cold meals .

Dear Waitrose Hove Management Team,
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional assistance I received from Kevin, a member of your team at the Hove branch.
Recently, while shopping with my seven-year-old, we had a little incident when my son, in a moment of excitement, accidentally flicked his slider into the air. It ended up landing behind one of the shelves, seemingly out of reach. Kevin noticed our predicament and immediately stepped in to help. He went above and beyond, taking the time and effort to retrieve the shoe, even when it required going out of his way to do so.
Kevin?s patience, kindness, and commitment to customer service made a huge difference in our day, and his efforts genuinely reflected the care and quality that I associate with Waitrose. Thanks to him, my son left with a smile?and both his shoes!
Please pass on my thanks to Kevin and recognize him for his outstanding service. Employees like him are a real asset to your team and a true reflection of the Waitrose values.

I can?t ? shop ? here any more . The shelves are as threadbare as Homebase . Never has a decent selection of basic vegetables?.although they?re already ramming the shelves full of unnecessary Christmas nonsense

Food nice but quite pricey. The deco is shabby with chipped paint on the walls and residue from posters everywhere. Would not take much to smarten it up. Below Waitrose standards I would expect. Lovey staff.
