As a vegetarian family, they have everything we need. Excellent quality vegetables, a large selection of kefirs and yogurts. Great prices with the Tesco card. Exceptionally friendly service, just like shopping at a family-owned store. No lines, a peaceful shopping experience without crowds or searching for products. A small, friendly shop.

Most of the time when I use this store the staff are really nice and friendly, so the three stars are for them, however, I went into Tescos in the evening around 6 p.m. on the 24th Jan and was unfortunate enough to encounter two female members of staff on the shop floor - both had dark hair, not sure what nationality, one had their hair tied up, and the other had their hair down. They were giggling and behaving like primary school children. Certainly not professional. I was shocked at how babyish they were. They need some serious training in customer service skills and how to behave professionally. They are letting the store down.

My elderly and disabled mother was assumed to be drunk by a new and young member of staff so wasn?t served alcohol. This is appalling due to my mother actually doesn?t drink and was purchasing the alcohol for myself. My mother wears a partial denture and suffered with a speech impediment. She also suffered with severe back and mobility problems. I guess this was the reason my mother was assumed to be drunk. Myself and my mother will not be attending this store now because of this mistreatment. I have also contacted Tesco in order to complain and ask that staff are trained properly without using invalid assumptions to serve customers.

Member of staff was pretty rude and unfriendly would recommend just going to a different Tesco or go to the Co-OP don't get treated so poorly. I also seem not to be the only one complaining about staff here make of that what you will.

Find staff rude, will discuss customers openly between themselves in front of customers!! And discussing managers openly too. Would advise some serious customer service training never mind going the extra mile these guys would be hard pushed going the extra inch ?Never anyone on the till in the morning too busy talking amongst themselves make it seem like a chore to come to the desk. Tesco lorry driver this morning 24/04/24 blocked 5b and 55 bus. Guy was on a real power trip, unacceptable goodness knows how many of us were late for work!! Only use it for convenience find myself more and more gravitating towards the co op.

Staff are very friendly especially the manager called mark who is one of the only people to actually interact with the customers and say a simple hello how are you? Gives the shop a more community feel

Staff very friendly and very helpful. I am a taxi driver who did a very long trip and picked up a meal deal and wanted a coffee with it. A young lady with black hair was cleaning it so while I was waiting was able to have a very lovely conversation. When I made a coffee the shop had run out of sugar for the coffee machine and the lady had a look but couldn?t find any and she went out of her way to go to her staff room to get me some sugar for my coffee. Absolutely amazing service and can?t stress how grateful I am. A treasure to the shop!Your staff are very kind and made me fell very welcome. It made my day! Thank you

So sick of coming in in the evenings late at night to be told to use self service or leave when I only have card and then to top it off an elderly customer came to the till (obviously not able to use the machine well) she came round and shouted ?Are you paying cash? THEN USE SELF SERVICE. Don?t know her name sadly but she has dark hair and quite young. However come in earlier that evening and the young lad who served me was amazing (he had a red top on)- he even let me use my card at the till!

UPDATEJust reading through reviews from a few weeks ago, looks like the same woman who served meThis is my local Tesco and I come in quite often usually in the day. The morning staff are always very friendly and always nice to have a small chat with before work. However this evening, I was served by a very abrupt young girl who asked me for id on a monster drink, even with my tattoo and the fact that I look over 15, and I am probably older then her! Never ever had a problem here. I was then refused service and then refused to let me speak to the manager as apparently she was having her break. She then shouted at everyone in the queue she?s not serving people who are paying by card even though all the machines are being used. Absolutely appalling service and I think I know the manager who works in the morning who I will speak to. Will be having a ?field day? with this.
