Had a long heavy weight mackintosh in the wardrobe, not warn maybe 10 years. Got it out to wear and discovered oil stain on cuff - obviously from years and years ago. Not optimistic about cleaning result - but wow! not a trace remained, and coat looks like it did when I bought it 25 years ago. Worth every penny of £25.

Got my suit trousers altered and they were very prompt with a quick turn around. However the alterations were not invisible at all, they were done with a machine not by hand and so you can see the seem fairly obviously. A bit disappointed as they were Paul Smith. With my wedding celebrations complete and my dress desperately needing a clean before the second party abroad, Palmeira Dry Cleaners came highly recommended by many friends.I gave my dress (that was marked with drink spills and the train from walking around outdoors) and it came back spotless! Excellent service. My wife's expensive jacket got heavily stained and I thought it was ruined. I took it to Palmeira dry cleaners today and they fixed it like new with a same day turn around. Very pleased with the service.

The shop closed before the time they are supposed to onna Saturday at 2pm... so I wasn't able to pick up my suit before my Sunday evening flight. Really unprofessional...

Completely destroyed a £1,500 Stella McCartney silk jacket, and when I asked why it had been returned to me in such a poor state got defensive and said ?it?s old?. It was in perfect condition when I gave it to them. They had zero apology, and didn?t even return my money. I am beyond distressed, and strongly suggest that this place be avoided.

They completely ruined a £1,500 Stella McCartney silk jacket, and when I went to complain they simply said ?it?s old?. No apologies, no refund. They just got angry with me. It was in perfect condition when I gave it to them - he showed me a machine and said ?we put it in there?. This was my most precious item of clothing and I am beyond distressed. Avoid at all costs.

I think this must have changed ownership as the reviews here are pretty bad. I dealt with two lovely ladies from the Continent. They were very friendly, payment was up front and simply laid out, and the cleaning and ironing was excellent. Nearly didn't approach but will definitely come here all the time.

When we went to collect a jacket which needed a new zip we were charged £40. The jacket wasn't worth £40. They then told my 80 year old mum that she had agreed to this beforehand. They then removed the zip, damaging the coat in the process and rudely returned the £40 after several requests. Appalling customer service and a rip off too.
