It was quiet we were there around 4pm, the waiter seemed pretty miserable to be honest but the food is where I draw the line I had a what felt like microwave lasagne that was 90% cheese and tomato sauce barely any mince or pasta, my partner has a carbonara and we shared a pizza that again was bread and oily cheese
But about three hours later my partner had an upset stomach spending approximately 1 hour on the toilet half an hour after that I was vomiting
We will never return, oh and the drinks were improperly prepared all this came to over £70 that?s insanity

The food was tasteless, garlic bread with no garlic, tasteless meatballs, and bland sauce. The restaurant was freezing every time the door opened. Sorry, will not be returning.
Not the fault of the restaurant, but an unruly child at another table, making it difficult to have a conversation.

We always get take away from here alot and eat in sometimes the food is always lovely!! Tonight we all come into the restaurant they tried to charge us for 2 alcohol drinks witch wasnt are?s and when service charge was asked to be taken off he then kept oninsisting on us paying him a tip kept asking you paying us a tip!! We was going to but to witch is very rude to keep asking for tips to customers!! To be honest we are totally gutted how rude we was treated tonight as we loved this place!!

I recently visited Hove for a holiday, and we stopped to eat lunch at Otello. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant, and the staff were incredibly nice and polite. We've been to a few restaurants in Hove, but Otello stood out. Five stars aren't enough for this restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try the food here ??????????

Californian visiting Brighton Hove. First Italian spot in Brighton Hove and did not disappoint. The food is authentic and delicious. Topped off with a delicious chianti, Malbec and dessert. Thank you to the service staff and chef.

Food was quite good, but staff were rude and physically intimidating towards my girlfriend.If the service charge is 'optional', don't get aggressive when someone asks to take it off.
