Picking up tennis again for the first time in 25 years. Popped in for some racket advice and was blown away by how exceptionally helpful everyone was. Super knowledgeable staff who obviously really care about the sports they cater to and want you to get the product that's right for you - the racket trial service is an exceptionally sensible option they offer. Loving my Wilson Blade! An asset to the community.

This place is an absolute gem. A proper family-run sports shop with a big heart?and an even bigger personality (yes, I?m talking about the dog).
The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, with customer service that feels more like chatting with mates than making a purchase. They really know their stuff, and there?s no hard sell?just genuine advice and help.
It?s the kind of local business every town needs: supportive, community-focused, and full of character. Whether you?re popping in for new kit or just passing by for a pat with the pup, it?s always a pleasure. A true local treasure.

An acquaintance from Brighton offered to take 6 Wilson CV100 rackets (2 new, 4 used) to Nick Rivett?s shop to sell.
After months of chasing, I was told by her, the shop couldn?t find them. I offered to come in person, to go into the shop together, this never happened, then my calls were ignored.
Eventually, I contacted the shop myself, Jo (Nick's wife) picked up, I explained the situation, specified the rackets: 6 Wilson CV100s 2 new, 4 used.
She said they keep a record of all rackets taken in, and that she will contact my acquaintance and call me back.
She did that and said: We have your rackets. I was delighted and confirmed a friend will pick them up.
When he went to collect them, he was given some old rackets (Photo attached), clearly not the 2023 edition of the 6 Wilson CV100s.
I called straight away, a gentleman told me, he didn?t know what to say, those were the only rackets handed in from a while back and offered £35, which my friend picked up when returning the rackets.
I?ll never know what truly happened, but the lack of accountability from all parties involved is deeply disappointing.

Just popped into Nick Rivett Sport to buy my 12 year old daughter a new tennis racket. Super friendly and knowledgeable service from Nick. Luckily the racket most suited was also her favourite colour, so she was a happy customer. 100% recommend.

I recently purchased a tennis racket from the excellent Racket Revival service. The customer service provided by email and phone was superb from enquiry to delivery.
The price was really good and the racket arrived in pristine condition, as described. Time was taken to talk me through different stringing options to make sure the racket suited my playing style.
I would highly recommend Nick Rivett Sport.

I wanted to redeem a gift card that I had been given for this shop on a reconditioned tennis racket. Apparently though, my gift card had expired, despite not having an expiry date printed anywhere on it. I was offered a £15 discount on a couple of 2nd hand rackets as a consolation but, considering the shop has kept the £60 that was paid for the gift card, this didn't seem reasonable. I therefore won't be using this shop again.
