They do seem a bit slow with processing. Staff could also be a bit warmer, but there is a lady called Zoe and a Far Eastern lady (possibly mixed race) who are lovely. Absolutely hate the lunch situation. I know no other store, let alone the size of Boots, who close for lunch in this day and age. And it is 2-3pm. Also, the door touch system is good to enter, but upon exit the door seems very dangerous. Somebody is going to be seriously hurt one day as the heavy doors literally slam in to your body.

Today I stopped by this Boots in the morning and witnessed the pharmacist speaking to a lady very loudly and rudely. The lady was so annoyed she ran out of the store. I left the store because I wanted to get my blood pressure checked so I needed to cool down my mood.
When I came back around 1600, the pharmacist was still there and still mad about the whole world. She was rude to me too. I think the HQ needs to put her to more training sessions!

If I told you wouldn't believe me!! Beyond appalling, arrogant, despicable Pharmacy staff with tje honourable exception of Zoe, who sticks out like a sore thumb because she's not a hard-of-thinking jobsworth. I telephoned my GP Practice to ask to switch from these chancers and the receptionist told me she won't use them either and that they've have had many complaints from other patients about the service and treatment by the so-called 'Staff'. Avoid like the plague....which they would fail to give you prescription for if you needed one. This is the Boots in Boundary Road, Portslade to be clear. I'm now using Kamsonsin Portland Rd. I used Kamsons in Goring when I lived there for a while. The difference in staff attitude and service is like night and day in comparison, if this branch of Boots closed down it would make zero difference to their pathetic service.

I went there (Boundary Road, Portslade, Boots), the general staff air is distracted and condescending. I took some old pill packets to recycle but the bag wasn't there so I asked if they were still recycling she said yes but bags waiting to be taken, I asked if they could take my 4 small empty pill containers and she said no, sorry. I went to exit and the automatic door didn't work, and voice from the back (same person) said it's not working. Last week I went there at 3pm and the door was locked. There were staff inside chatting amongst themselves and two of us tried to attract their attention from outside but we're deliberately ignored.
Not good customer service boots!

I had high fever for several days with huge white patches in my throat and tonsillitis which was bloody painful and their pharmacist diagnosed it as an inflammation not infection ????? and sold me some anti inflammatory product which didn?t decrease the pain at all. I went to another pharmacy and as soon as their pharmacist looked at my throat gave antibiotics and was surprised that this pharmacist didn?t. Please take care of people?s life. This is what supposed to be your business not convincing patient to buy the other pharmaceutical products.

Don't know if the people leaving positive reviews are partking some of the stronger pain relief they sell here or just got the store wrong but my god, everything is an inconvenience to the staff in this store, half the lights are dimmed & the store looks like it's out of the 1980's needs a revamp + new staff or closure.

This store needs to update it's website regarding opening hours. This branch is closed between 2pm and 3pm. God knows why but it causes massive inconvenience

I dread going to this pharmacy so much that I am transferring to one further away. There are a couple of people there who are so rude, condescending and don't seem to know what they're doing. Everything is too much trouble. There is one lady there who is great and the pharmacy manager is very nice and helpful, sadly I think they are outnumbered. Sad when they are dealing with people who are often feeling poorly or are vulnerable.

Terrible service, why do they need to shut for a while hour for lunch? Can't they stagger their lunches like every other shop in the world? Do they insist on all eating lunch together? Got there 10 minutes before they shut for lunch, but the door was already locked. They let us in but then wouldn't let us just find what we needed, and insisted on hurrying us. I also came here a while ago and they had me waiting for ages while I thought they were sorting my prescription but someone had just left it on the counter and hadn't let me know. Awful service, petty staff

UPDATE YOUR OPENING TIMES! Tired of having to dodge your changing lunch times inbetween trying to work myself.
Even coming 10 minutes before closing for lunch you refused to serve me. Ridiculous!!
