POSTING TO ALL 3 SURGERYS AS THEY DIDNT TELL ME WHICH SURGERY I GOT THROUGH TOO:19/3/24Just spoke to a receptionist called Susanne, who was rude, in fact nasty & so unsympathetic.The doctor gave me antibiotics last week for bronchitis and said I sounded very wheezy. Said if by day 5/6 they haven?t helped please call in and book an appointment with the receptionist I will need to see you again.Just tried to call and book, been toldThey can?t book me in or pass a message on and I?ve got to wait like everyone else. When I said they have to as it?s been requested by the doctor she said ?anyone can see you?. No HE asked to me not one of your other Doctors!Anyway, she then threatened to put the phone down on me because I was being rude! I said this is why people shame receptionists etc as you don?t follow instruction by given by doctors and you don?t care or have sympathy which is ?what you stand/strive for!?She then said I?m going to put the phone down! So I said ?ok what?s your managers email?.,. Then proceeded to give me and invalid email and tell me she Will tell Annabelle the manager I?ll be emailing then hung up.I?ve never spoken or had this experience with a doctors surgery EVER. I am disgusted. Totally disgusted. Do your job and be kind Susanne

Can never get an appointment, always want to send me to buxted that?s over a hour to get there with 2 buses no direct route so have to wait till I have a day of work to make an appointment so I have enough time in the day to make it there and back, and then get told all appointments have gone for today, try again tomorrow. And I have had a pre-book appointment. That was then changed from Horam to Buxted or East Hoathly by text (3times this happened) so then had to cancel and try book again.

The staff and doctors at this surgery are always polite and helpful. We?ve been a patient of the surgery for 8 years now and hopefully will be with the surgery for many more years. Thank you. C&M.

Same as my review with the Buxted practice, i have found this practice brilliant, staff are friendly, accommodating, and i would not go anywhere else.

I really miss being able to contact this surgery directly as you never waited more than a few minutes to be answered, and they were always efficient friendly and often went above and beyond but now with the better (who are you kidding) one number phone service it is completely impossible to get an answer - Today mid-afternoon '' you are caller number 6 in the queue '' 48 minutes later I finally get an answer and that's supposedly with all three surgeries answering calls to make it more efficient - Total shambles and so much for patient choice as everyone I have spoken with absolutely despises what has been imposed on them.

Horrendous surgery, poorly trained and rude staff, no care for patients or their concerns. Left them for another surgery in the town.

I know this isn't directly all the surgery's fault.. but I can't get an appointment online or on the phone..so I guess it'll either get better or I'll see you in A&E!

My mum registered with the practice when she moved here last year. They have been absolutely outstanding in their treatment of her. When I have called the surgery the receptionists have been very polite and very helpful. They have accommodated appointments for vaccinations to be done locally rather than travelling to either of the other two surgeries. All in all 11 out of 10. My daughter and I have both transferred to the surgery.I don't agree with the gentleman giving the surgery a one star review. As no longer a patient there he should have called 111 for urgent advice. The receptionists had every right to turn him away, which is why he probably felt that they were unhelpful. I can only say that I have had the complete opposite experience.

The Team are highly effective, and deliver a first-class service! The front desk / phone crew are courteous, and make patients feel really welcome, even when they are under pressure!

Admittedly no longer registered to this doctors, but I called for some advise that I felt was urgent and the receptionist was rude and snobby towards me and I feel it could have been dealt with in a politer manor. To add to the record I had previously been part of the surgery for 5+ years.

Very good although sometimes running very late (20 mins plus on one occasion).
