It?s has always been a nightmare there. I recon, they deliberately offer appalling services so less people would want to register with them

Well can't say enough about how well I was treated. Used ring back, efficient receptionist rang me back very quickly only asked relevant questions booked apt 2 and a half hours later. Doctor couldn't have been more helpful. Well done all.

This has to be the worst surgery ever. Saw a doctor on Monday with a broken toe who then told me to self certificate and phone up today. Phoned up as was told to to get a doctors note for the next to be told by the receptionist I have to wait until Monday to phone up after I told her I was told on Monday to phone up today. Since when do receptionist know what the doctor has told you to do. Very rude and unprofessional

Needed to make an appointment for suspected chest infection. New phone system allows you to schedule a call back and retain place in queue (rang at 8am.on dot, not sure of place number in queue). Received call back after 10 minutes. Spoke to a really friendly lady and was given an appointment for that morning. In my opinion, huge improvement in telephone system and great service.

I think that the service people receive in most surgeries today is the same. The doctors and staff are overworked and now you never see the same doctor twice so how can they possibly treat you properly. There has also been a huge amount of building in Heathfield and the immediate area so doctors are treating alot more patients with the same number of staff and in the same hours. I don't blame anyone but the government and management of the NHS. Most surgeries are in the same boat as this one and the waiting list for patients to be seen in hospital is pretty disgusting. I believe in the NHS and hope it can be cured or we are all in trouble. As for this particular surgery, I am satisfied with their treatment and think the doctors do a good job, are empathetic and somehow treat the tremendous amount of patients entering the surgery every day. There is now a need for more GPs with better conditions and low waiting lists at hospitals. We, as patients deserve that.

Awful service, poor receptionists who hang up on you for no reason after 30mins on hold, long waits on phone, do everything they can to deter you from seeing a doctor. Think the partners of this practice need a reminder as to who the ?customer? is , invest in staff instead of your own profit.

Sank to a new low today in my opinion. Walked in at 8.30am and asked if I could get an appointment. Receptionist told me she couldn't make an appointment at the desk and I would have to phone up. Seriously!!! It's the year 2023 and you can't walk in to a doctors surgery and make an appointment??? Then told, all appointments are gone but phone up at 2pm. I phoned at 2pm hitting redial constantly until they were open after lunch only to be told there were no more appointments unless its an emergency. I thought that's what hospitals were for? So basically I was lied to. Looks like you have a 10 minute window at 8am to get an appointment otherwise, go away and suffer. No facility to book in advance. Online booking no longer available. Most of the doctors seem to be part time so there's hardly anyone ever there. Can't even choose to see your own doctor. This surgery needs a serious overhaul from management down to reception staff. The one and only plus point is when you do get to see one of the regular doctors, they are excellent.

Called at spot on 8 and 14th (how did that happen !) in the queue which wasn?t bad considering I?ve been 45th before. Spoke to a very helpful receptionist who booked me in at the Firs, I was seen on time and had excellent service. Thank you

At 3.30pm I was on hold for 13 minutes, then phone picked up and promptly hung up. Phoned again and was waiting for 10 minutes having been told I was first in the queue. I hung up that time. Surely no caller is speaking to reception for 10 minutes .

So I know the drs don?t deal with dental issues. However when I rang to say I can?t get an appointment, emergency won?t see me because my face isn?t swollen. So I said I have an infection and asked what am I supposed to do ignore the infection and be told YES!! This is disgusting!!

I have just returned from the High Street Surgery (Monday 25th April)where I received the most appalling service. My wife had a cataract operation on Friday and we were told that the eye drops they gave us would not be sufficient and to get a repeat prescription from our Doctor. I went in and asked the receptionist and she curtly replied, ""ring at 8 am tomorrow". I said "but she only wants a repeat prescription". She sighed and said "oh alright" and took down her name and date of birth and said nothing else. I even had to go back and ask what would happen next. "They will ring" she curtly replied. I have always had very good service at this practice but this woman lets the side down massively. She should not be in contact with the public.
