Once in several years you find a gem like this!
The homecooked food was simply wonderful. As was the landlady who has the amazing talent for making everyone feel special. We only found this place having walked out of the beefeater up the hill in discussed at the managers rudeness. So thank you beefeater for helping us find such a special place. We shall return.

Very nice, and reasonably priced food. Great portions. Service was great. Only bugbear was long bar queues but it speaks to the quality of the place that is was so busy. Highly recommend.

Popped by for a pint, small range of ales. Lovely setting, plenty of garden space which were well maintained. Restaurant was very busy although did not eat seemed good potion sizes.
Plauged by wasps, small niggle, one of those summer things but would have helped if staff collected empty plates and glasses instead of walking by empty handed.
Drink prices reasonable ??

Absolutely lovely place, been going to Two sawyers for a while now. Its has a very cozy feeling and staff very lovely. Food is as usual top notch. My little one also enjoys going there and look forwards to his activity books, keeps him quite and happy.
A must try if you around Hastings.

Had 3 meals whilst visiting the area, all were delicious, service was excellent. The roast was one of the best Sunday roasts in a pub I had ever had. A ?basket? lunch mid week was very good value. Finally an evening meal was lovely! Couldn?t fault anything. Shame we don?t live closer! Fabulous cherry cheesecake dessert is highly recommended.

The day we went was mega busy (a very sunny Sunday lunch). The staff were running here and there. They pretty much forgot about us and had to be asked/ reminded about everything.
The food was really good though and the staff when we got their attention were lovely.

Excellent pub. Nice staff. Chips & salad excellent, Veggy-burger good once you scrape out the sickly-sweet relish and replace it with a little simple mayo.
