Only one member of staff doing all the work. Was quite busy so I asked if anyone else was there to help her and there was but he'd decided it was at this busy time that he was going to do paperwork. He'd been buzzed by this girl three times and had just ignored her. He got called out and was told that as a manager he led by example, when his shop is busy he helps out not ignore staff calling for help. Dread to think how much walked out that door that day. Also he was quite patronising too. So he was pulled up on that too

My first visit to this store after being away from the area for a while, there's a great selection everything from batteries to shower heads to crates and hot wheels. Staff were ok but one young person went above and beyond to help my mum and myself today so thank you Charlie you are very polite and helpful. I would have given five stars if the store was a bit more organised lol and wasn't so cold. Thank you

Very handy place to shop they have a wide range of goods at a good price the only put off is the guy named Dexter, he's rude and never seems to be doing much apart from trying to chat up younger ladies that are in the shop and please don't have your fag breaks out side the front of the store it doesn't look good at all.

Where do I start? I would love to name every single staff member but there are too many! They are all friendly, helpful and fantastic! The store is easy to navigate, find what I needed and sparkling. I'm almost in there everyday. Well done everyone!!

I normally visit on a Saturday morning and always get a smile and a hello from all the staff, a special mention to the young man I think his name is Charlie he is always helpful and will go above and beyond to help you out a great place to shop and some items are far cheaper than the likes of amazon.

A horrible store. I was watched while shopping in that store and I assume because of my skin colour.There is hardly anything good in the store and it's very disordered.The cherry on top was after buying the woman who served me asked if I could put the basket back at the front door on my way out?????? I have never been asked that considering I am the customer.She was talking to her colleague before I got to the cash desk, during and after asking me if I could put the basket back.Customer service in this store is non existent. Don't go to this pound stretcher it will leave you disappointed and shocked it is still open.

Wow, went to Poundstretcher Bexhill Road , St Leonard?s on Sea recently after not visiting for a while and what a transformation! Shelves are tidy and well stocked. Attractive displays and good organisation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well done.

Easy, free and close parking (can get busy at times). Good range of goods at mostly cheap prices. Gardening, bedding, kitchen, household, some food. Being 'out of town' (well, not in the town centre) this store tends not to get too busy.
