I love this pharmacy. They answer the phone without an enormous wait. They are open late. They are open on a Sunday. The pharmacist patiently consults with you if you have a query. They even answer your questions if you are not registered with them....which my Mum is now is.

Michael, pharmacist, was most welcoming and understanding. I was helped immediately and I couldn't be more grateful. All the staff are friendly and helpful, notwithstanding the massive task that unfold in front of them every day. Thank you, everyone.

SONYA is incredibly helpful. She goes out of her way to help everyone I have noticed. Even when I'm a pain and come at 6.30 in ththe morning, she is still so polite, efficient and attentive.Yes, we all know there are some teething problems with staff changeovers and substantial staff shortage - yes it can be a little frustrating if yesterdays staff have promised 1 thing and when i arrive it has not been fulfilled but I believe the staff are being so harshly reviewed as a whole. It is probably the biggest pharmacy in hastings and has many orders to fill and as customers sometimes we expect perfection and "now"!I do see the staff trying hard to help everyone as quickly as they can but with such demand i understand the extra wait times sometimes and i personally am more then happy to wait when Isee how hard members of staff are working and especially when it comes to Sonya.People only seem to come on reviews to complain but great service like that provided by sonyadl deserve recognition too.

They now have a member of very rude staff a young girl with brown hair who was very rude to me when I was with my little boy who is 5years old , because she could not find my px on the computer and said it was not there and went to see the doctor whom informed me they did have it. So I returned and asked politely to check she ignored me and did find it in the end on the computer, but they are taking over a week to issue a px I will be complaining formally.

Since most the staff left after their contracts were not renewed this has become staffed by some rude people who shout at customers as if it was the customers fault that they are three days behind with filling prescriptions. The customers are not to blame for the ineffectual staff, they can blame themselves as they are supposed to be in control. There are three good staff members left now.Update:I went in to ask why my wife was shouted at. The pharmacist initially denied this, then talked loudly over me, then acccused both me and my wife of SHOUTING over him, then back-tracked then apologised and then admitted his shouting staff member was correct and that "all new prescriptions would take three days". Imagine that a minute... you go to the doctor or dentist upstairs, get handed a prescription because you require medicine and the dispensing pharmacy cannot deal with it for three days. This branch has already got rid of the customers they delivered to in Bexhill, people who were not able to get out and collect for themselves, housebound people for the main part. Then they gave up doing blister packs for those who needed them. Now they abuse customers and ask if they would like to go elsewhere (which we agreed with our doctor surgery before we saw the pharmacist). We have arranged for our prescriptions to be sent to a pharmacy who understands that they need customers or they will lose the pharmacy. No customers equals no income, so show your support for zero tollerance to abusive staff members and take your trade to a superior pharmacy who, when you need those meds the doctor prescribes, can fullfil your prescription without the intollerable abuse.

Dispensing pharmacist the oap guy was rude an obnoxious saying he doesn't have to prescribe what my dr has, exasperated my eupd and heightened it, all for asking for a script to be looked for, won't be using them again. Go to kamsons if you want to be treated humanly.

Nice. 3 years ago.2023, the place has gone so downhill in terms of staff. I was so embarrassed and shamed by an encounter with one particular member that I suffered a huge panic attack and had to be calmed down and looked after by the station plaza nurse. People use pharmacies for all sorts of needs, staff should be aware that they're interacting with customers with mental illness regularly and should act in accordance with that knowledge.

Had an issue but pharmacist Craig sorted it. Things sometimes go wrong. It's appreciated when it's sorted out.

Every time my partner goes in, the staff member named Rebecca Parsons is extremely rude to her. The only reason for this is because she chooses to wait to collect a prescription. The prescription is for a controlled drug so the medication is needed when the prescription is due. It's not something that can wait a few days. Today, Rebecca decided to berate my partner which was very audible to the public area. Clearly she has no customer service skills and thinks that just because she isn't good at, or is unsatisfied by, her job that she can berate customers and be disrespectful to their face and behind their back. Appalling service.
