Called in for a Sunday brunch. I found the menu limiting but I wasn't aware of the food genre as I was more concerned with being fed. Really friendly staff and what I had was lovely - who would think to pair a toasted cheese sandwich with humus? Yum! I'll definitely be back another time for a later meal, the lunch menu looked tasty!Vegetarian options: A great veggie menu here!Parking: There are a limited number of spaces outside the cafe but being the seafront there are loads of paid parking places nearby.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly.

Lovely place to relax, get a drink and just sit. Views out over the sea, owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of drinks and foods with a Middle Eastern twist.

Really good coffee and delicious cinnamon pastry which was warmed up for us to take away. Friendly staff.

Nice for a coffee stop. Often frequented by ex Islingtonites and their vegan offspring. But all good...?

Brilliant place to stop at for coffee or lunch. The staff is nice and efficient. The food isn?t expensive at all, quickly prepared and of excellent quality!

I was a little disappointed by this nice looking little coffee shop. They had no semi-skimmed milk which meant no skinny coffees were available. I had a standard americano and it wasn't great. On the flip side, one of the people I was there with said the vegetarian offer was excellent

Such a beautiful day so my friend and I sat outside and enjoyed a panini for lunch. Tables are very close together outside so a shame people smoke so close to others, that was a bit of a disappointment so we drunk up and left. It has a very varied menu.

Stopped in yesterday on a whim (and because I was hungry!) as I walked along the seafront. There?s a guy who?s always sitting at a table outside drinking cardamom tea served in a pretty little silver teapot. I?ve seen him there even when it?s freezing. Don?t know why, but that prompted me to go in.At the suggestion of a fellow diner, I got the Afghani lamb biriyani with a side of pita & yogurt with mint. Oh my, so good!! And enough for dinner at home later. Friendly staff, simple interior, windows that look out to the sea. Lovely. They close at five so go for lunch. If you hate styrofoam as I do, bring your own container to pack up leftovers.I may go back today!

I got a plate full of salad hummus two vine leaves some pitta bread and half a plate full of chick peas I asked to have it replaced as I couldn't eat it she said no it's what I ordered and I should of looked at the menu properly !

Our go-to place in St Leonards on Sea, right on the sea front. Delicious Persian food with a good range of vegan and vegetarian options. Not costly, prices in photo from February 2023. Pictures show the veg. Combination and the veg. biryani (spicy, but you can request it to be mild). Generous portions.Parking: Parking is free in nearby Warrior square but it does tend to get busy.

Wonderful ambience, ocean view. But my samosas were a soggy, super-hot gluey yellow mass. They took 10 minutes to stop steamingThey?d been vigorously nuked (I asked) and they said, ?yes yes we put in the microwave??

First time visitor and boy, we will be back. Start off by saying the coffee (and the milk art) was first rate, and the hummus was the best we have had in a long while. Proper knowledge of flavours and spices in the food. But what I liked the most was the staff. They took time to be pleasant and happy, chatting to regulars and new customers alike. They are truly building their business one happy customer at a time.Vegetarian options: Varied and tasty

What a lovely place - I had a Kassa special chicken panini and the chicken was the best I have ever tasted in any restaurant ?The staff were friendly and helpful, and it's a place I would happily go to either with others or on my own.Oh, and the homemade lemonade was second to none!

We popped in on a Sunday afternoon in January and we were amazed to see how busy it was with couples, friends and families. Service was fast and friendly. I had the hummus and aubergine dish served with freshly cooked pitta and my husband had the lamb biryani. Both were delicious but the flavours in the biyani were exceptional. We finished with coffee and baklava. We were really impressed with this place and will be back.
