Restaurant not busy but service slow.Had Fish and chips which were nothing like the photo,two small pieces of fish fingers size battered fish with various coloured chips and peas more yellow than green.None of the food in our party of seven was up to much.Don't like moaning in front of my guests but food was not up to standard,not a welcoming atmosphere and the place is drab.Have had family staying and went to a pub a couple of miles away today and to be honest paid the same for much better food etc.

We had a delicious dinner here in a nice atmosphere and the service was very friendly.
The food was good, but some of it was grilled a bit too ambitiously - especially the side dishes. The dessert, chocolate orange sundae, was great.
Unfortunately, several of our selected dishes were not available.

Worst meal I?ve ever had. I am baffled how there are positive reviews for this place.
I had a 2 course meal from the festive menu. Not sure what was festive about it.
Half the menu was unavailable so I had to get something else. I was hesitant about getting chicken breast or turkey as it can be a bit dry, so I asked the waiter what they?d recommend. They said they don?t like white meat as they find it dry but said customers like the chicken. The chicken was the DRIEST piece of chicken I?ve ever had. I should have heeded that waiter?s warning but apart from steak or burger which I didn?t want, there was nothing else to choose from. Chips were flavourless and not fresh. I?ve also added a picture of a ?parsnip? from someone else?s plate for further context.
Let?s take it back to the starter, despite the limited option, I was hopeful to try the pâté with ?ciabatta?. The ciabatta being a slice of wholemeal bread.
I did ask the waiter if anything can be done about the disappointing starter and limited menu but I was only compensated by getting a discount of £1.50 because I wasn?t informed of the bread before ordering.
Would not recommend this place, very disappointed

Christmas dinner was absolutely amazing we had the 3 course meal and the food was so lovely and quick amazing staff very friendly would definitely recommend to come here for Xmas dinner

Went for christmas day and it was great. The food was amazing! The staff were so friendly. It was very clean. And they even gave my child a christmas gift! So sweet! Thank you so much to our waitress Shania! She was so friendly and welcoming and made our meal time very fuss free and easy!

We have breakfast here on Sundays quite frequently. Always lovely! We are here again this morning, nothing too much trouble. Chap serving us is very helpful and friendly, very fast service. Even got all the kids a hot chocolate with cream! Breakfast always freshly made to order. Excellent value for money! May be helpful to update your opening hours on Google though. That is always showing you are closed on Sunday mornings, when you aren't!

Using The White Hart as advertised on a motorhome stopover website, went in to have a meal. The front of house staff, a young lady, was exceptional, helpful, and pleasant. Ordered our meal, and the wait time was very minimal, but the food was excellent. Highly recommended this pub.

Easy to get too, ample flood-lit parking, good seating both inside and out. Superb view from rear garden area. Standard national Beefeater menu, separate 'restaurant' and bar areas (although food can be eaten anywhere). Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere with good internal decor. Good value weekday day-time 'limited' menu.

Food was good and so was the service , it was a quiete loud with kids running around screaming , but it is a family friendly place , so was to be expected.

We had a table of 11 for the festive menu. Food was really good and Kirsten our server was helpful and friendly - just what you need when dealing with so many people at once! Jamie was very helpful when we made our next booking for 11 people. All in all a good evening out.
