Awful service- I?m frequently standing at the tobacco counter waiting to be served 10-12 minutes with nobody in front of me. Very often there?s nobody manning self service or tobacco counter. One staff member in particular pretends to not see customers.

Typical Waitrose. If you choose your brands wisely most basics are reasonably priced. The staff are always available to help if I can't find those unusual extras.....and the occasional bargain on the cake section always goes down well ?

Oh My Gosh. Waitrose, what a relief. I have spent hundreds a month in other Supermarkets and you barely get a grunt of acknowledgement. Waitrose: a different story. A warm hello from staff, help available at the drop of a hat and a grateful thank you; see you soon on Exit and the prices are reasonable too. I will shop here in future.
