Nice hotel, clean, tidy, very presentable. Rooms good. It would help if there was a laminated sheet of paper detailing what tv programs are available and how to find them, ie what number to find a particular station.
The bathroom is functional but needs updating / modernising.

Room was clean, We had a room facing the fuel station,Room 202 which was noisy from lorry and van parking over night on the road outside the accommodation, The room was very hot, We did have a fan but wasn't a lot of good really, probably better than nothing, again we had the windows open to make this a little cooler, But so much traffic noise. Didn't have a good sleep ?

Cheap, clean and comfortable beds. You go here to sleep and for that it's perfect

Room is filthy. Full of cobwebs, dead and alive spiders. Window was left open so flies in the room. Bedding has marks on it, spare pillows have dried blood boggies. Dust everywhere, coffee stains on table surface. Room is giving me the ick. Dreading the rest of our stay here.
Staff at reception was a lovely young lady who came to dust the cobwebs and was very apologetic. But overall quality is absolutely terrible for the amount paid. Have stayed at other travelodge accommodation in other parts of the country and have never experienced it to be this bad.

Worst travelodge we have ever stayed in. It was very dirty.
The carpets haven't been vacuumed properly for months as there is lots of dust/dirt all over it, peanuts over the floor and generally very stained.
The bathroom was also dirty with other peoples hair left in the bath. Basin taps were very rust and this had caused the basin to become stained.
The windows were vile, the frames were mouldy and covered in cobwebs.
I would not stay here again.

Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and rooms. The door threshold has a tiny little lip which may cause problems for power chairs. Dog friendly, with a nice kept grass area out front but the bushes do need some maintenance as it covers the path for the grass. Additionally not wheelchair accessible unless you go all the way around to the shell garage where there?s a path to the grass area.
Very clean and well kept rooms, and communal hall ways. Rooms are quite basic, no ac but a fan was provided does mean the room was hot despite it only being 20?. Also feel the bottom front rooms would benefit from privacy screen on windows so the curtains could be opened without everyone in the car park being able to look in. Close to busy roads so noisy when windows are open. Only 30 minutes wifi for free but paid upgrades are available.
Regardless, it was quiet and a good stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Felt safe as the hallway to the rooms was automatically locked using a key fob system.

According to the website, these rooms have been updated. I couldn?t tell that tbh. Typical old fashioned Travelodge and looked like it could do with a makeover. You get what you pay for i suppose! Room was clean. Handy that there was a Greggs and a petrol station shop right outside, but no pub or restaurant nearby for walking to. We knew what to expect and got the room cheaper than the hotels nearer the town centre so not much to complain about.

Nice room. Good location. Fair price. Nice Starbucks and Greggs in the car park and next to a garage with a shop. Free parking. Thank you Bonnie ?? ice cream ? man

Overall, we had a positive experience with this hotel. The room was clean, with slightly opened windows and fresh air inside. There is no air conditioning, but a fan is available if needed.
I liked the view from the windows ? trees and bushes all around, which made it feel like the hotel was located in the middle of a forest. We woke up to the sound of birds singing, which was so nice.
In the bathroom, the shower was slightly leaking, but overall the water system worked well.
We were surprised to find that breakfast was served in boxes instead of a buffet, but the contents were quite decent for the price. (I?ll add photos of the breakfast boxes below.)
The girl at the reception was very friendly and welcoming ? it really made a difference.

Double room with bath for £34-99 - what's not to like. Large room. Clean. Teas and coffee. Lovely view from the window over the countryside.

Stayed in this travelodge a few days ago whilst travelling from Manchester to see my boyfriend in a town nearby. When I arrived it was quite late but the staff were friendly and gave me easy directions to my room. It was weird experience though as previous travelodges I?ve stayed at used NFC Keycards to both enter the hallways and rooms, but instead they use fobs to gain access to halls and actual physical keys for the rooms. Not complaining though :)
As I entered the room, it was neat and tidy. I was expecting there to be no thrills, but I was extremely happy to find there was USB C CHARGING SOCKETS AVAILABLE! As I came down from Manchester on instinct, I did not pack a plug for my stay so there being USB sockets available was amazing and saved me spending at least £7.99 to get a plug socket from the Shell nearby.
What I can say though is that phone reception was very poor (at least on vodafone UK), dropped from 1 bar of 5G in the hallways to EDGE in my room, so purchasing WiFi for your stay is a MUST, or looking with your provider first. Also having to enter my registration for the car park was a bit weird considering I haven?t had to do that at other travelodges before, but it could be a southern thing because I found myself also having to enter my registration at a Tesco carpark in the town nearby I was visiting (Hailsham).
The remote for the TV was quite poor as well, it was stiff and quite painful to use, especially navigating through the Guide. There are other models of remote that Travelodge have which are way better, so that would?ve been nice to see there.
Shower was also really nice to use with no signs of visible mould. There were a few cobwebs in the room though but I could easily get rid of them using my hand as they were no bother to me.
Overall for a £40 stay, I can?t really complain.

filthy dirty room, with clothes from previous clients, the help of the reception is inexisting and always refer to the travelodge website, the new normal of helping people
the breakfast is a filled carton box, and the coffee is a sachet from the room, pure luxury?
the corridor smells like hell
