Reception was very polite and professional. Easy to make a convenient. When I arrived for my eye test, I was not kept waiting. The optician who tested my eyes was very professional, thorough and friendly. I gained the strong impression that she had done an excellent job. I then chose new spectacles with the friendly and very patient help of one of the staff.
Altogether a very good experience.

We had a really good experience at the opticians today, mum has dementia and we were treated with such care and respect to what turned out to be a difficult eye test. The staff were so caring and the optician did all that he could to examine mums eye, he phoned me later to let me know she had been referred. I would say 10/10 and thankyou to all the staff at Hailsham Boots optician

Firstly I would like to say that all the staff working that day were fantastic. Their attentive efforts did not go un-noticed. They were friendly, polite and acknowledgable. Olly the optician was brilliant too, he explained everything in a clear and easy to understand fashion. Overall experience was great, would definitely recommend.

The optician was so friendly and explained everything really well to me so I had a better understanding of my vision. The other women that helped me with my glasses and the tests before I saw the optician were lovely and welcoming too :)

Previously I had visited Vision Express and Specsavers but on both occasions the prescribed lenses seemed far too strong and made my eyes ache. When I returned they explained its always like that and I will get used to them. As a result rarely wore the glasses. Five years later I decided to have my eyes checked once again, but this time with Boots Opticians in Hailsham. I chose this store because it was liley to be less frantic than the stores in Brighton or Eastbourne, and this proved to be correct. The staff were friendly and informative and put me under no pressure. They alleviated my concerns about certain aspects of the eye test, and at the end recommended the correct lenses. I chose some nice frames and benefited from the one at full price, one at half, and a free pair. When the glasses arrived a few days later to my surprise they were fitted just right and are not too strong. They listened! Thank you.
