Absolutely fuming with this store, my wife and daughter came into the store to get some shopping and on exiting the branch was approached by there security guard who said abruptly that she was seen putting something in her pocket, he made her go through her shopping & emptied her pockets, obviously my wife had nothing, but the security guard said to her that she must have put it down, the embarrassment & shame my wife must of felt is unimaginable, this is disgraceful behaviour from yr security, & this will be taken further. Also I did speak with management and I was so angry & disappointed but even the manager on at the time of this was note forthcoming with wanting to know the details, she was very clear that the security guard was doing his job even though it was wrong and very damaging for my wife,

To this lady in the shop tonight. I hope you feel really good about yourself, hating travellers it as a joke. It?s nearly 2025 and discrimination is still going on tried to make a scene at self-service, just because we had a trolley. It wasn?t about the trolley at all. It was because we were travellers and she thought we was going to rob ? we have been going to the shop for nearly 6 years and this is not the first time she has made a scene ?????? she admitted she was being racist and told us to take out money elsewhere. When we showed her we was going to pay ??makes me so angry we get treated like this still ???

This store has made me feel so uncomfortable to walk in now. Coming from London - retail assistants are taught basic courtesy but this Asda made me feel like a criminal. Got to the till at 4pm on Sunday- yes I understood it was closing time but I was getting the death stare from each and every employee. I was out of the store within 5 mins after making my purchase, but a lady was hovering over me at the self service as if I was incompetent. This has honestly made me shop elsewhere and has definitely not given me a good impression of the kind of workers in stores.
