My sister and I came here for the first time and we were not disappointed, the food was so delicious, the lamb and chicken were so tender, we will definitely be back, great sevice too.

Food is good here but the man who took our orders probably needs to reconsider his profession. I've never met anyone so rude in any public facing profession as this man in my life.
We booked a table, having just sat down he was trying to take our orders almost immediately - give us a chance to look at the menu! We came on a wednesday for the deal menu. One of our party wanted to ask some questions but was ignored for taking orders, one started giving her order and he moved on. When we mentioned the deal, apparently all deal meals must be ordered separate from non-deal ones. Okay, fine, perhaps saying that before taking orders would be the way forward.
We pointed out who in our party wanted a non-deal meal (not the first person) and he took their orders then moved onto the rest of us. We directed him back to the first person, where he told her she cannot change her mind and her order cannot be changed. Obviously that's rubbish, especially as he was still taking other orders. Accused her of changing her mind again and when she stuck up for herself (because who likes being called a liar) was told to get out - no cursing, insults or threats were used but apparently correcting this man and expecting him to do his job properly is tantamount to anti-social behaviour. We'd been before as a group but never again after that - appalling behaviour!

We have been with friends many times for Roochi?s Wednesday / Sunday Special. Quite honestly the meal is phenomenal in both quality, variety and quantity. Service is friendly and efficient and the restaurant has a buzzing busy atmosphere.

????? Disappointing first impression
Pulled into Forest Row around 10 p.m., exhausted and hungry after a long drive. I glanced at the sign outside and?through tired eyes?read it as ?Indian Italian,? which actually made us more curious to try it. Unfortunately, the welcome ended at the door.
The moment we stepped in, staff looked visibly irritated, barely said hello, and told us the kitchen was ?basically closed? even though the posted hours said open until 11. No offer of a quick takeaway, no suggestion of what was still available?just an impatient shrug and a pointed look back at the door.
After that frosty reception we decided to take our appetite elsewhere. I can?t comment on the food, but hospitality is half the experience, and a simple smile or apology would have gone a long way
