My Dad just passed away & I went to the Waterstones in Eastbourne to see if a gift card he had been given I could use to buy books on grief. The book token gift card has expired but the kind lady behind the till re-activated it for me & showed me where the grief section was. Her & the other lady were so kind, it was excellent service & really compassionate in a very stressful time for me

Great selection of books in here. Children's books, and they sell Jellycat toys too! I particularly like the cookery and economics section they have. Well stocked, nice ambiance in the store. Very polite staff who will always make the effort. Thank you.

A massive thank you to the ever-friendly Chris for helping me source a book that was sold out. Managed to get it ordered into store to collect a few days later, which couldn't have been more straight forwards or prompt. Great service!
