AVOID
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at this salon. I have known the owner and business since it opened about 7 years ago. I thought as I was in town I would return and have my feet and nails done.
Firstly on entering the salon it looked dirty and untidy, I was asked to sit and wait on the very dated chairs.
I was given a pedicure by one of the owners staff, it was very nice and I would say he did a good job, however I also had my nails done I was asked what I wanted and asked for pink and whites. Like the poster they had in window.
This was absolutely awful the nails looked very bad and a friend advised as they looked so badly done I should go back and have them re done or ask for a refund.
I did this the next day, I messaged Jenny who said yes come back and we will fix it for you.
I was told again to sit and wait which I did patiently then was called over by Jenny who asked me " what is the problem with your nails?"
Well , I said if you have a look they look awful, she gave a short glance and asked her assistant to take the nails off, so I had to have an acid bath for my fingers !! Great I thought as my fingers started burning.
I tried to complain very quietly and confidentialy but Jenny insisted to let the whole salon know that I had complained and everyone was looking at me, I have Agoraphobia and PTSD so this was really embarrassing for myself, I just wanted to treat myself, I hadn't had my nails done in years and the whole experience left me feeling low and tearful, I couldn't wait to get out of there !!
Overall review of this place is don't go there, the place is Dirty and outdated.
The wholyplace including toilets need a good CLEAN.
The footbaths they use for pedicured are cleaned with.... multi-purpose cleaner from grocer shop down the road.
No sterilisation of equipment! Dirty dusty boxes of other people's skin is absolutely disgusting!
Jenny you should be sterilising between customers and using appropriate cleaning products for footbaths.
Your cutting corners and using the business as a cattle market for nails.
You have NO PRICE list, you said my nails cost me £40 but I paid £80 for feet too, so my pedicure ended up costing me £39
They charge extra for nail varnish and don't explain in what the products actually are, they rush you into making decisions, the lady next to me was trying to ask a question and was ignored 3 times, I had to ask for her in the end.
The Fawlty towers of nail salons avoid.

I've been coming to True Nails in Eastbourne for a while, often without an appointment, and they always accommodate me. Their SNS Mani Pedi service is fantastic! The staff friendly, and the attention to detail is impeccable. My nails look flawless and last for weeks. Highly recommend!

The stylist didn?t understand English and kept doing the wrong style even I showed her the video how to do it.
And, she made me breeding when doing manicures. But she just trying to washed away my blood in the dirty water bowl and kept swiping my blood away with the dirty tissue. At last I had to ask her to give me alcohol gel to sanitize it. I couldn?t believe it.
I had unpleasant experience even another lady did it again for me, it?s another 25 mins to waste, not even mention how hurt to my nails.
Cleanliness: The towels were dirty with lots of marks.
The staffs were changing the ceiling lights when customers including me were sitting right under there. The dust dropped all over on us. It was so inconsiderate.

I have used True Nails for 6 years and cannot recommend them enough. They have never not been able to fit me in even at short notice.
They are always attentive, polite &:really appreciate their customers. They know everyone who comes in the door on first name terms.
They always do as the customer asks and their nail designs are excellent
They are also a bit crazy & very funny.
You'd be mad to go anywhere else !

The only nail shop i go to in eastbourne as never had a bad set. Nice even shape and great at matching to what you want. Never had charms before and after a week on holiday still firmly on my nail. Great value for acrylics. Only place to go in eastbourne for decent nails
