I've known Charlotte's family for many, many years but I didn't know that she worked in the Travel & Tourism industry.
A while ago, my boss was talking about her experience in booking a holiday and how amazing the travel counsellor was - and she mentioned her name and then it dawned on me she was talking about the same Charlotte Duffy that I knew!!!
A few months after this conversation my wife and I were thinking about doing a 'big holiday' We'd never travelled far before and Covid had robbed us of the opportunity to travel when we both turned 60 and so, as this was our 40th wedding anniversary, we toyed with the idea of a huge adventure and decided on Canada but had no idea where to start!
I then remembered Charlotte and decided to get in contact with her. I messaged her through Facebook and said we had a rough idea of going to Canada but had no idea of where to go, how much it would cost, how to get there, etc - in fact we were completely clueless about everything.
She was away on holiday and said she would look into it when she got back. She didn't - she got back to me the following day (!) with a few ideas and asking a few questions about what we wanted to do, to see, to stay, etc. A couple of days later she had produced a full itinerary. Flights, hotels, car hire - everything!
We'd had no idea about a budget but she gave us a rough idea of the costings prior to producing the itinerary and she fitted the holiday right into our limit. So within a week of contacting her, we had the holiday of a lifetime booked.
She insisted that no question was too stupid to ask and that she would be there to answer anything at all. She stayed true to her word and made everything so easy and stress free - and yes, I did ask a lot of 'stupid' questions.
We were due to visit Jasper during the trip- but sadly the town was ravaged by wildfires and the whole town was closed - so sad for all those affected! I contacted Charlotte, whilst we were a couple of days away from Jasper and she changed the destination and booked a different hotel in a different to accommodate us and ensure we had somewhere to stay - she even managed to find a hotel offering a free breakfast!! This was all sorted within a few hours with no fuss, no panic and very much a "Leave it with me, and I'll sort it" attitude.
Charlotte is incredibly knowledgeable about her job and goes the 'extra mile' to ensure that her clients are given the best possible service all with a personal touch (my boss can also testify to this!). Twice she sent cards to us, with personal messages - real cards, in envelopes, through the door - lovely!
Would I recommend her? What do you think....? She's a consummate professional with a personal touch and the ability to make one feel that they are the most important people travelling! 100% recommendation. People I know have all heard about Charlotte and I will continue to sing her praises to all and sundry.
Thank you, Charlotte, for everything. You're a star.
Now, where shall we go next? Dunno - but we'll be contacting you when we decide!

Charlotte helped us book the most magical trip to Luosto (Lapland)
After speaking to Charlotte about our wishes, she came straight back to us with options for us to look at. We picked to stay in a log cabin and search for Santa. It really was magical and the memories will last forever. A very well organised trip from start to finish.
Charlotte was helpful from the start right up until we went. I would highly recommend booking through charlotte and would certainly book other holidays with her in the future.

We?ve just returned from an amazing trip booked with Charlotte. The whole thing was so easy and painless, Charlotte just took control of it all which was fantastic. All we did was show up! Just back from a fantastic Thailand holiday, arranged by Charlotte. She sorted out multiple flights, transfers and hotels for us to have an amazing trip. She was always on hand to answer any questions and check everything was going ok. We recently travelled to the Maldives for what in the end was a fabulous holiday. We had some issues regarding my partner's health which left us very unlikely to be able to take this holiday. Charlotte was truly amazing. She managed to get the resort to hold the booking until tests could be done and she was in constant contact with us regarding flights and even helping us with insurance. Charlotte went well above what you would expect from a travel consultant which we were truly grateful for. This was the first time we had used an independent travel counsellor but it definitely won't be the last. Thank you Charlotte for first class service.

We booked our honeymoon with Charlotte having come highly recommended to us. We couldn?t have been happier with the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble during the booking stages, we found our ideal package & she sent us all the information we needed. Charlotte advised and guided us through our trip to Australia, staying at Singapore en route and Dubai on the way home. We changed our minds several times on who to fly with and where to stay, Charlotte kept preparing our quotes never minding how many changes we did, advising us why it would be good to stay in a certain area and booking a Desert Safari in Dubai. Our hotel in Singapore The Park Royal Collection, Marina Bay was so lovely. The rooms were very clean, the service good - would chose one of this collection again. Absolutely amazing service!My parents booked our honeymoon through Charlotte and it was absolutely fabulous we went to Pompeii first and the hotel she found was less than 100 yards away from the entrance to the archeological site and our room had a fantastic view of Mt. Vesuvius! Then we went to Venice another amazing hotel overlooking the grand canal and a Gondola tour with glassblowing all booked with Charlotte. The itinerary provided was fantastic and Charlotte was on hand throughout the week even getting in touch with our transfers when our flights where delayed. An absolutely brilliant experience would highly recommend any holiday be booked through Charlotte ?????
