There was an Asian staff (bartender) who was very rude and initially declined to serve us our food even though we ordered and paid for it via the app. Apparently, we had to show our passports to be served drinks (age limit), but he demanded that it was necessary to be served food as well. Fortunately, our hotel was nearby and so my partner could make an additional trip to take our passports. However, even before my partner returned, food was served without checking. In the end, by the time we managed to get the age checked, we had to eat the food which was already cold.
The Fish and Chips portion was also smaller than usual.
Not a pleasant experience.

A really good spoons with a much more chilled atmosphere than the Spoons round the corner. L&C have great food for the price you pay. The staff are amazing, particularly Blake who served me at the bar upstairs, he was very kind and had a lovely chat with me whilst he poured the drinks for my group. The manager and other staff were also very welcoming. I?ll definitely be coming back soon 5/5 all the way

Heap mediocre food with cheap booze

New manger was extremely rude. Refused service after a couple of drinks. I've been coming to here for 10 years with no issues.

The drinks came followed by the food, wasn't a long wait at all.

Small L shaped room with usual characteristics of wether spoons establishments. Usual tap beers and real ales available. Pleasantly decorated and the staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Good visit.
