Came here for Sunday lunch. Food was fantastic. I had roast turkey, my family had lamb shank and burgers. We all loved our food. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Gave a bowl of water and a treat to my dog. Lovely seafront location. Nice sea breeze blowing through while it was 28 degrees outside. Great pub, I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Lovely place to stop for a drink on the patio or grab a meal from their extensive menu. I heartily recommend the pie as a dead set winner. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

Very nice pub. Even though it was very busy, the waitress got us a quick order and pushed the food as quickly as possible. Great service!!

Tried the fish and chips £15.95 was tiny! The portion inside the batter was incredibly small.

called in for Sunday lunch after seeing reviews on Google and was definitely not disappointed wife had turkey and I had belly pork both were plentiful and tasty we had bread and butter pudding and apple crumble for dessert and was perfect the staff were very friendly and we can honestly say it was the best meal of our weekend away

Just eaten Sunday lunch at the friendly pub. I had roast beef with roast potatoes, Yorkshire, horseradish and mixed veg with lashings of gravy, accompanied by a pint of Long Man Long Blonde. The beef was well cooked and perfectly cut, the roast potatoes crisp and not too flowery, there was a good selection of veg, and the gravy was thick and tasty. It might not be nouvelle cuisine but it was exactly what an English pub Sunday lunch should be and reasonably priced. The service was prompt and friendly; my wife's needs were accommodated without fuss. What more could one ask?

Fantastic cheesy chips. Everything else on menu looks good too.
*It amazes me that so many pubs, whose main product is drinks, seem to rely on customer guesswork about what's available and the price. Where else in our shopping experience does that happen?A full drinks menu on every table in every pub would be great.
