Pharmacy phone NEVER gets answered.

Every little helps can be found there.

What a shambles, the pharmacist seems to enjoy serving rather than doing his job of getting tablets to the customers, while I waited 45 min two other customers were having the same problem, seems a good pharmacy to avoid.

I have an ongoing issue with my repeat medication being tricky to supply. There isn't a manufacturing problem, but supplies are low, leading to delays getting the medication. It can take 3 to 4 days after it's ordered by the pharmacy before it comes in. So I'm careful to order my script at least a week before I need it.
Sadly, Tesco believe they have no duty of care to ensure they supply my meds on time. Despite it being the same order every month, not only do they take days on end to even download it from the surgery, they then omit to order it, or fail to enquire with their neighbouring Tesco to see if their sister store has it in stock. Ive asked them to keep a box instock for me every month, yet they fail to do this every time.
If only there was another pharmacy open on Sundays that suited my work schedule! I hate this branch holding me hostage every month. The queue is always huge, slow and staff look dead eyed.
The process usually goes like this: A week after my GP authorised the script on Patient Access, I get no text to say it's ready. Nothing. SO, I go in to see what the state of my meds is. The excuses vary even within the same conversation.
"We ordered it but it didnt come in" then "we only got the script yesterday and it was too late to go on the order" then "it's not available anymore" or the popular "we have every strength except that strength" (how does this help me?) and so on.
Staff never can agree on the excuse and usually wander to the back to discuss it for ages, before coming up with a jumbled excuse that basically just means "we cant be bothered to resolve this."
Apparently, they'll order it once, then if it doesn't come in, they put the script aside and just forget about it until you come in looking for it. They don't call you, they dont notify the GP. Nothing.
They'll refuse to call their sister branch, saying they have no "facility." Meaning that Tesco doesn't have a branch phoneline. Calls go to a main switchboard that does nothing but play a recording about opening times.
They'll then toss the script at me and send me off to hunt high and low across the town.
I end up getting very poorly without my medication and missing days off work until a pharmacy eventually gets some in-stock.

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy in this area, staff too busy having a chat and I stood there for about 10 minutes while they continued to natter on! Maybe less chat and they might have people's prescriptions ready for them.

Very slow staff who either ignore you completely or take forever. If you want an idea of what it's like just look at the sloth scene from Zootopia.

Appalling customer service. Waited in a queue only to get to my turn to have a finger pointed to a handwritten note telling me they were going on an unadvertised half hour break. Came back later to be faced with grumpy service and rude attitude for no apparent reason other than having to serve the public. Avoid!

Hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Only reason I go there is because I do my shopping in Tesco?s so I can normally lose the huge wait time whilst I do my shopping. More recently though I find the queues are ridiculous and they take forever to prepare prescriptions sent in directly from the surgery. If the medication is urgent I would seriously avoid:

They've had my prescription for a week now and they've still not ordered it in. Good job it's not for an urgent medical condition

Getting repeat prescriptions was a disaster for over a year, I'd get really stressed about trusting my prescription would be ready/available, and then having the same conversation over and over with the staff, who are all lovely but unable to provide me with confidence, then the Manager was really condescending when I asked her to explain why it kept going wrong. So I've left and chosen a smaller Pharmacy and now my stress levels are backbto zero.

Tried to buy some Solpadine Plus for back pain today, have never ever had a problem obtaining this before ever since my triple discectomy 12 years ago, since then I've had all sorts of consultations & physio with numerous doctors on how to manage the on going pain & discomfort. Lady at the pharmacy, although polite etc, put me through what seemed an IQ test as to what I was taking it for, had I had it before, you know it's addictive don't you and finally what's your blood pressure? Really, as if I would know that? She informs me the the fizzy version contains salt and would affect my blood pressure & at this time am refusing you this medication. What ever happened to the Armed Forces covenant, so embarrassing going through all those probing questions in front of a large queue. My wife had exactly the same examination (recovering from a previous serious car accident and serious injury to her back and hip) Tesco's Extra Eastbourne, YOU'VE JUST LOST TWO CUSTOMERS! ? Of my 193 reviews I don't think I've ever awarded anyone one star.

I have found this Pharmacy really bad at supplying repeat prescriptions on time without needing a phone call. This last time they didn't even manage to follow the doctors instruction for a particular stated brand of tablet and have given me a brand I allergic to.

Extremely helpful member of staff but one person is not enough when busy. I had to wait nearly 30 minutes to be served. This is bloody ridiculous.
