I wanted to buy lunch here before hiking to the Seven Sisters Cliff. I read some reviews that some people had a bad experience. Fortunately, this shopping experience was pleasant, and the chicken-flavored submarine was also delicious.

I bought a tuna sandwich and a Coke Zero from the tap today at Eastbourne station - the sandwich was delicious and the Coke was cold and fizzy. There was a queue but the staff were very efficient and we were served quickly. Would recommend.
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menu.
Parking: There is parking in the station or the enterprise centre, which is cheaper for a short stay.
Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair user can enter via the station entrance or the entrance outside the station.

I recently visited the Subway located at Eastbourne Station and I was appalled by the abysmal service and the substandard quality of food I received. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was met with a level of hostility from the staff I think they were Asian staff that was completely unwarranted. Their demeanour was rude, and dismissive, and made the entire experience unpleasant.
The audacity to charge a pound for extra cheese is beyond belief. Not only is this price exorbitant, but the amount of cheese provided was so meagre it was almost laughable. It felt like a blatant attempt to overcharge customers for a product that should be standard.
To add insult to injury, when we politely requested a bag for our food, the staff?s reaction was nothing short of contemptuous. Their unwillingness to accommodate such a simple request was shocking.
The final straw was the outrageous bill of £70. Given the poor quality of service, the meagre portions, and the unpleasant atmosphere, this price is completely unjustified.
It is disheartening to see such a decline in service and product quality from a once-popular fast-food chain. I strongly advise anyone considering visiting this Subway to reconsider and choose a different establishment.
I urge Subway to address these issues immediately and provide adequate training to their staff on customer service. It is essential to prioritize customer satisfaction and provide value for money.

The worst experience I had in a Subway chain!!!!
Two of your staff/franchise manager of Indian ethnicity at the Eastbourne railway station were very rude and extremely unpleasant. (Not like the ethnicity makes a difference but this is pointed out for identification )We were being extremely polite and thank them numerous time but they were extremely disinterested and gave us the cold shoulder.
The sandwiches were thinly filled and we were limited to the salad options. Subway is know for its generous filling and salad option, this defy the purpose of Subway concept and very disappointing. We were spoken to like nuisance, that?s not how you should treat anyone not mentioning a customer.
Moreover at the check out counter we were handed our sandwiches and cookies upon payment. When we were exiting the shop one of the staff came after us and claimed one of the cookies weren?t for us, they were snatched away from us as if we were thieves (whilst we were handed those cookies at the first place). Not one line of apologies for the rudeness and their mistakes.
This experience left an extremely bad taste in us and we looked up the google review and many other customers have complained about the rudeness of the manager/staff at this particular subway branch.

Absolutely shocking service I've just received, rude and impatient staff, food was stone cold!
I won't be going back, but rumour has it it's changed owners , and now the same staff run both in town. So I guess, I'll boycott subway from now on.

Went today at lunch time to subway near railway station, MR.AAMAN in store staff person was not at all cooperative or having patience while taking an order very disappointing service from him. He behaved so rude with me and my family ? which made us feel sad

Not as good as other subways,this didn't seem as clean so I wouldn't choose to use it again. It smelt weird but staff member pleasant
