Returned pair of trainers as too tight thought they'd be fine,as had same style as before... NO REFUND ONLY CREDIT NOTE OR EXCHANGE...
I will never use the store again and certainly won't recommend the company..

The place its self is just like any other sports direct nothing to shout home about,The staff how ever are the most welcoming and helpful people I have had in a long time,specially Connor who walked me and my friend through the store helping us find the perfect shoes and at the BEST price.

They didn't have what I wanted (board shorts mens) however I was shown they have kids and women's swimming wear, no board shorts.
As I was leaving, I checked out mens wear downstairs. I found shorts that at a push would be suitable for swimming in as they have a net liner.
Not sure if the staff knew their products shorts to swim in

Visited the SportsDirect at Sovereign Harbour Retail Park recently ? it?s a decent store with good prices and helpful staff. There?s a nice selection of trainers and sportswear, especially for kids, and they often have sales going on which is a bonus. The store was quite busy, so expect it to be packed most of the time. No queues to get in, but there was a bit of a wait at the till. Staff were friendly and quick to help when I had questions. I was looking for specific running shoes and trainers, but the options were a bit limited. Still worth a visit if you?re after a bargain and don?t mind the crowds.

My experience was not good at this store. The staff is young lads with chavy attitude that is not willing to help when you are looking for the number of the trainer. Wouldn't recommend it

This shop lived straight up to what you expect. Full of people in matching tracksuits and groups of 15 year old boys and girls squeeling and looking at Adidas trainers.
I got 2 pairs of shorts from here that they tried to charge me more for cause they were thing up right, unhelpful attendant.
Then I tried to explain it to another person who couldn't understand I didn't have anything in my hands and his colleague had the shorts. I had to explain I didn't have anything in my hands 3 times... Whilst he could see my hands and his colleague had them.

It was very busy today and for some reason only one poor young lad working in the shoe department during half term. He was run ragged. I had to wait 15 minutes just to find out the trainers I wanted weren't in stock in my size. I would have looked at other options but I just couldn't be bothered to wait. They 100% lost a sale as I need trainers today. I just went somewhere else.

I am certainly disappointed with this place. Very limited range (eg; only two tennis shoes, no pro/intermediate level rackets, not even feather shuttle cocks). Most sports equipment such as tennis, badminton and squash rackets are low grade items. Customer care is also below par - when you ask a question they do not even take the effort to explain it to you. However, the lack of such big sports stores in this area is leaving us with no other option. :(

Sports direct don't offer any refunds, regardless of circumstances or if something was brought within just minutes! Only credit note issued so they have your money and you have no choice but to return! Lost a loyal customer, don't be fooled.
