The quiche is to die for! A large slice of deep cheesy quiche with a crumbly tasty pastry and a bowl of salad (the one you help yourself to and you can pile it up!). Now thinking I?ll ditch dinner tonight I?m so full.

My wife is vegetarian and this place has nothing for her only a cheese salad. They claim to offer food for vegans and vegetarians in actual fact they only offer door for meat eaters unless you want to live on jacket potatoes. This place is a con - read the reviews. This has the worse options I have ever come across for vegetarians

I?m vegetarian and we asked what was available vegetarian wise with the salad. Answer? - NOTHING!! The lady was quite pleasant but the man was very unconcerned and said well we can do a cheese salad. Talk about vegan options? It?s misrepresentation because they don?t have anything suitable for vegetarians or vegans but reading the other reviews, they don?t have much worth having for meat eaters either. Diabolical - don?t waste your money.

This was a fabulous meal that me and my family had.
The service was brilliant! We couldn't of asked for more helpful staff.
The food was delicious!
I had ham quiche and salad, my husband had pie and said it was the best he had eaten in ages! My little one had sausage and chips! She loved it!
We asked if they did kids meals and they had no iusse in helping us with this.
We loved it and the staff were so lovely. They interacted with my little one and didn't care that she was making loud noises and just being a child!! They didn't make me feel like i had to keep her quite and I felt at ease.

My chips were put in the microwave right infront of me despite them being under a heat lamp, same with other people's food. EVERYTHING gets microwaved here

Went in there to get lunch roast beef with roast potatoes and veg looked nice got to till woman handed me my plate burnt me as they had put it in microwave I sat down roast beef was delicious however carrots were rock hard and tasted awful roast potatoes were also hard like rock cakes pudding was ok its a shame about the veg but I will not be returning because the chef if he can't cook carrots I don't want to taste the rest of the veg poor place

Passing through town on the train we first tried Wetherspoons which by good fortune was too busy for our liking otherwise we would never have come across this place. Shades had lovely hot food like you used to be able to get but now is so hard to find. I had lamb, lots of it, Mrs had Macaroni cheese, both with loads of veggies roasties etc . Amazing value at £10.50 each. Don't know how they do it. If we are ever passing through town again we will be back for sure. Friendly service and lots of seating. Excellent.

Great food, friendly staff, good prices. Big seating areas but....it makes me feel like i'm back at school, or in a hospital canteen. You have to take a tray and walk along and they dish it up for you and you find a seat.

Don't go this restaurant i paid by card today and they charged my twice. The girl and mangaress was very rude. I've said them u charged me twice and she responded oh in shout voice. I wouldn't recommend this. .

The coffee tasted like nothing.Staff were too busy discussing their weekend plans to notice anyone at the counter. Not even one person smiles at all.Would give zero stars if I could?but unfortunately, even bad coffee and moody staff deserves a rating.

Absolutely worst jacket potato I have ever had, dry grey with a sneeze of cheese on it. Got a side salad and a flat diet coke. Revolting save your money!
