Staff leave you sitting for ages while they decide who's going to finish your nails. Was left sitting for 20 mins for "acrylic to dry" while they accepted new clients. I've never been told to wait for acrylic to dry. One hand dries in the time it takes to do the other .I'd hope it's a one off but I stopped going here a couple of years ago for the same reason. Obviously hasn't changed. The 1st lady didn't speak to me at all and my nails were burning with how much she was filing them, I repeatedly said ouch and pulled my hands away. The man who finished my acrylic cut my skin and I've had to file them myself when I got home as they are odd. The tips are too wide for my nail beds, the lady has glued on the wrong size. The most anybody spoke to me is when I asked what I needed to pay. Was happy to leave as this took 1 hour 40 mins. Poor

I don't know what has happened here. They used to be incredible but my daughter and I had a totally different experience yesterday. The staff are not up to standard at all. The young guy who did my nails was filing them for an hour! Put so much acrylic on and covered my fingers in monomer which was extremely painful. He filed with the electric file so much it was agony and I've been left with a fizzy feeling in my left hand little finger which remains today, I can only assume the excessive filing has hit a nerve?
Thank god for the lady who works there (who is lovely) and had to step in and managed to salvage my nails - although they are not all the same length still, but there was only so much she could do.
My daughter had a similar experience. They left her fingers in acetone for over half an hour. They also covered her fingers in monomer which hurt a lot. Her nails are so thick as too much acrylic was applied and are just a general mess.
All this cost me £87 and we have been so put off. It seems there are lots of young guys working there who just aren't experienced enough. My advice to them would be stick to your appointments and stop taking walk ins (we always book, but no one ever checks the diary when we arrive) It feels like they've just got greedy and have increased their staff, but they haven't had enough training.
Such a shame.

Sat waiting for an hour and a half after my appointment time even though i booked in advance, i got short nails with single coloured french tip and they tried charging me £50?! seems like they make up their prices and my nails aren?t even the same length they?re all different.
Multiple people had to get more money out because they weren?t told of the price increase before each step. Will never be coming back

I have been a loyal customer of this nail salon for over four years, but unfortunately, the quality of service has significantly declined in recent months. While their growing popularity is commendable, it seems they have taken on more clients than they can handle. Despite always making a booking, I often have to wait, sometimes for quite a long time.
Additionally, there has been a noticeable increase in new employees who are not up to the standard I have come to expect. Due to these issues, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I hope the management can address these concerns and improve their service quality for the future.

First time at Princess Nails & beauty for me
And can say I was not disappointed! The gout attended to me was very friendly and thorough with my nails , he took his time I don?t feel rushed at all and he made sure I was happy with my shape before proceeding .
All in all a great experience I left really happy with my new nails (full set acrylic with gel coat) and can?t wait to go back again when it?s time for my refills. ??
