Got randomly searched at checkout for the suspicion of stealing, because of the lady who was stationed at the self check out don't like the look of my laptop bag. I was a minority race in the store and the only being searched, while other caucasian customers with bags didn't get searched. I feel racially targeted on this search, as the lady had no ground or evidence of stealing.

A great little Poundland located conveniently near the train station in Eastbourne city centre. It?s a compact store but packed with great value ? probably the cheapest place around for everyday essentials, and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. They?ve got self-service checkouts, which makes shopping quick and easy. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. I really enjoy visiting this store whenever I?m in the area. Highly recommended!

Huge selection of just about anything you can think of, and some you never knew existed! Watch out for the stuff for over £1 which is creeping in though.

Meh what can I say. Its Poundland. Alright for the odd thing, but I never want to spend any more time in there than I have to. Feels like a dated store and has a very characteristic smell.

heather and the co worker kicked out of the store just because we were kids she was being classist and showing sings of modern ageism that is reall disgraceful we do not appreciate this kind of behaviour especially as we have done nothing wrong and we feel that this is not only based on our age but our appearance aswell.

Went in here before work, said hello to the cashier, no responce.I asked if she had any carrier bags(plastic bag) to which she rolled her eyes and made a hand gesture to the strong bags on the wall, like could'nt see those, I proceded to buy one, not a word was spoken till the end when she said" you want a receipt" in a vile manner, i said " yes please", she slammed it on the counter and I walked out.
If I was like that to my customers I would be handed my p45.
She was so rude that it made me angry.
You need to get front staff trained in customer service. Disgusting behaviour.

Poundland isn't a pound land shop anymore. Almost every item is over £1. Change the name or sort out your prices.

The worst poundland I ever been to. Staff is nice but the shelves are empty most of the time. Either the team is too lazy to stock them up or they have some different issue . Each time I go there there is always things missing on the shelves, empty boxes on them or the shelves are just empty . Maybe visit from HO would help
