I am not satisfied with this bank. I am moving ISAs that I have with them because interest rates are so poor. They made an error on the national; Insurance number they used for my ISA despite them having two other ISAs with the correct NI. After ten working days I discovered that Metro bank had thrown the ISA transfer back to the receiving bank because the NIs did not match. It was too much trouble for Metro to check the other ISAs to see if it was their error. I had to visit the store as I gave up waiting on the telephone. I proved to them it was their error and they made a correction to their record, but they required me to contact the receiving bank for them to start again. The bank needs to be trained to give good customer service. It started in November 2021 and am still waiting for another ten working days before they transfer the funds. Needless to say I will remove all money from this bank. BH 12/2021

Absolutely AWFUL company. STAY AWAY!!!Have tried to steal money from my savings without me noticing and lying about it when caught out. Keep getting locked out of my mobile app out of nowhere and having to travel in store to reset it every time and their customer service agents are incompetent, they don't listen to you at all and just give pretrained scripted replies.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUEGo to Monzo instead

I was in tesco about to purchase my groceries and was shocked to find out my card had declined. Later that night i phoned the bank to find out why and discovered that someone had stolen my credit card details and been making payments from my account. I rushed to the bank the following morning hoping that i could stop the money from leaving my account and luckily the transactions were still pending and the money had not left the bank. but here is what i got toldThe bank will give away all my money on transactions i never authoried and was also told by metro bank that its pointless calling the police because they take months to deal with these issues.So after having all my money stolen i have decided to change bank

So impressed with Metro Bank! I opened two business accounts with them recently and have been really amazed at the friendly, helpful staff on hand at every turn. They are a breath of fresh air, so different to my experience elsewhere. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with plenty of staff to deal with customers promptly and treat them like human beings, rather than an inconvenience. Very glad I chose them, I will be recommending them to all.

There's a sign above the door- "open seven days a week" I went on Sunday and it's closed.There's a sign next to the door Mon-Fri 8am -8pm. It's 6pm and it's closed. The only reason I'm with metro is because I can get there after work.Somthing somthing Covid - it's been a year, sort it out! Or at least put your actua l opening times next to the door

Went to open an account on a Saturday afternoon, Eastbourne branch... welcomed with smiles at the counter, I waited 5 mins to be seen which I was happy with as the branch was nicely decorated with comfortable seats. I was seen by a member of staff named Aleisha, she was fantastic, well spoken, clear, provided me with all the information I needed to make the right choice, she knew the range of products well. An absolute credit to the business, give this lady a promotion. She even held the door for me on the way out. Winning.

I have been with Metro Bank for about 3 years, and I must say that the interest rates are extremely good. As for the staff, they're welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend that you open an account with them because they have a no fee policy when you shop with your card abroad and within half an hour, you can get an account, a card and chequebook printed and ready to go! You can reassure yourself by reading that they're regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Please help Metro Bank by assisting them during this pandemic (as of this review) as they haven't had many customers entering. If you have already opened an account, you can you've made the right choice!
