We are relocating from Brighton to make my partners commute a little easier. It is stressful trying to find a place at the moment and doing so around work. The whole team at McGregor have been really helpful getting us on on viewings and have been very flexible with our search criteria. They have been honest and a pleasure to deal with.

Numerous issues and bad service encountered with your agency:- Secretly adding on the contract that we would pay 6 months rent in advance when this was never mentioned or discussed before- Taking up to 6 months to fix things as per your duty, with some issues still not sorted by the time we leave- Allowing contractors onsite without notifying us beforehand and not respecting our right of privacy and quiet enjoyment- Booking gas certificates the day before when this is something which can be done up to 1 year in advance.- Not providing any EICR (Electrical report), EPC (Energy certificate), and the latest gas certificate- Not replying to some emails- Accusing us of breaching the contract without providing us any reason, even though we queried this numerous timesThreatening us- Stating that you would visit our home at any time you wish provided you can us notice of the day but not any timesWe now note that you have not repaid our deposit as well as the rent we overpaid.Sadly this is a genuine review. Firstly i was turned down on a property for no other reason than than I was self employed. This was prior to first class refs being looked at or my finances being reviewed and despite me offering to pay upfront on a 12 month contract if necessary. This was after a 3.5 hour drive to visit a house and me telling them I was self employed prior to making the drive.They then promised they would find me something else but instead I never heard a thing from them even when I enquired about another house they had for let.Poor service, bad communication and old fashioned land lords who dislike self employed
