Very very rude and bad costumer service her name was Tegan she was very rude and not very nice, I was asking about opening bank account she didn't answer my question politely, She effect my day ,She don't even have energy to talk

Shocking service!No staff on the main counter. Too busy chatting amongst themselves then after disappearing out the back office the young lad decided to serve me, after making sure he drank his drink first! The service was so negative then told me I had less in my account than there actually was. Left feeling I wanted to look for an alternative bank ?

As a longtime customer at Eastbourne. I was perturbed on a recent visit to see that the branch is closed for refurbishment. I was unaware of this as I had not been informed. As I am not an online customer I had to make a special trip to Seaford to do a transfer. Why were customer's not informed? No facility is available in the town & no idea when they will be reopening. Very bad service!

Following trying on-line, spending hours phoning and getting little help from the Ai-bot' and call-takers with challenging regional accents I decided, as suggested, to visit this branch in Eastbourne (4/5/2023) to try and transfer my Halifax Stocks/Shares into my Halifax Cash ISA.After waiting for the two middle aged women on the 'help' desk to stop chatting to each I gave my reason for the visit.Neither seemed to understand what I was asking and gave the stock answer 'you can do this on-line'.When I corrected her dismissive and inaccurate solution they said I needed to see their ISA advisor, who was not available for another week. They then gave me a business card with the branches telephone number, with the caveat that they are very busy and my call would probably be redirect to a central number.I would like to say I am surprised, but like most large organisations, they seem to take customers for granted rather than valued.16/6/2023This mistake has now been rectified. Due in no small part to the interventions in-house advisor Mihaela Teodorescu. She is the only person at HBOS I have spoken to who seems to listen/understand and find solutions to problems. Get in quick as I am sure she won't stay at the Halifax..!!

First time ever I?ve had to suffer an unsatisfactory appointment with Halifax in Eastbourne. Carly took my account details too willingly considering I was then fobbed off by her to do it all online or by a phone call.No offer to make the phone call in branch nor to guide me with which forms to complete online or otherwise.Her, possible, non-communication with a smaller local branch meant I wasn?t warned how long an appointment I had. I was made to feel I?d delayed her!!I know I can do better if this branch can?t.
