It's expensive for what you get. There always seems to be a long queue, but the food and drink taste good.

There was a queue when we arrived, but that went down quite quickly. Ordered and received our mocha in about maybe 5 minutes or more, which is quite good for a busy place. The staff are friendly and professional, plus the food there is great.

I only tend to go for free produce from various companies. Well done to Greggs for participating in these schemes

The slowest Greggs in the Country by a merry mile.
I was as 20 minutes in a queue for a coffee at 3 o'clock today . I gave in.
Northern franchises don't work in the South.

Is Gregg's the best bakery? Probably not if you think about their range, but what they do sell, they do well and it's very good value for money. For example, their breakfast bun and hot drink deal smashes any of the big coffee houses by more than half!! £2.75 for a generously filled bacon bun, and a latte is unbelievable these days. You wouldn't even get a small coffee in Starbucks or Costa for that price and if you added a bacon roll, you'd be talking the best part of £10!!
Also, their latte is surprisingly good! In fact, I think I now prefer it to a Starbucks latte, I'm not sure if Starbucks have changed their recipe/beans recently, but it's not as good as it used to be. I'll be getting my latte's at Gregg's from now on!!

Grabbed a quick bite before leaving town: a pizza slice and a very reasonably-priced cinnamon frappuccino with cream; the two items cost me £3.60 if I remember right.
A very small cafe with few seating areas. Nice lady behind the counter.
